London Amateur Foursomes
Code of Conduct Policy
This Code of Conduct sets out the minimum standards expected when participating in the London Amateur Foursomes and Ladies London Foursomes/ You must ensure you are familiar with and understand the Code and always meet these minimal standards
- Code of Conduct
Breaches of the Code of Conduct include but are not limited to:
- Care for the course, for example
- failure to repair pitch marks, not raking bunkers, or replacing divots
- pulling trolleys onto or across teeing areas
- Foul and abusive language
- Abuse of clubs on the course
- Throwing and/or breaking clubs
- De-facing or damaging on-course signage
- Damaging course equipment, tee markers, flagsticks, rakes etc
- Being disrespectful of other players, referees or spectators
- Misuse of Social Media
- Publicly use critical or disrespectful descriptions of others or the Committee via any social platforms
- Excessive use of social media during the round
- Acting in a manner contrary to the spirit of the game
- Continuing play once the result of the match is known
- Penalty Structure
The Committee may impose the following penalties for situations identified in 1 above:
- First Breach – Warning
- Second Breach – General Penalty
- Subsequent Breach or Any Serious Misconduct – Disqualification
Note 1:
Any warnings or penalties applied under the Code of Conduct during a round will be carried forward for the remainder of the round and involvement in the Tournament.
Note 2:
Any breach of the Code of Conduct by the player’s caddie will result in sanctions being imposed against the player.
Note 3:
If the breach occurs between the play of two holes the penalty applies to the next hole.
- Committee Decision is Final
The Committee in charge of the Tournaments will impose any penalty where applicable and any decision will be final.
