**Late entries will be accepted onto the waiting list. If a spot becomes available, GSGA will contact you to proceed with registration. A $30 late registration fee will apply at that time.

 

FIELD SIZE

30 players. All entries will be placed on a pending list until the entry deadline. Striving for the goal of inclusivity, the GSGA will accept entries equally across all Impairment Categories amongst those who have registered. Secondarily, the GSGA selection process will take past tournament experience and Handicap Index into effect in determining the field.

ELIGIBILITY

This tournament is designed for adaptive golfers with limited competitive experience. Applicants must have an active World Handicap System Index of 18.5 or higher and an ACCESS Pass.

 

If necessary, applicants may register for an ACCESS Pass here.

 

**Applicants without a World Handicap System Index and/or ACCESS Pass will be placed in a non-competitive division. These participants will receive a tournament experience but will not be eligible for awards and prizes.

FORMAT

18 holes of net stroke play (9 holes each day)

Players will play the Azalea routing for the first round and the Magnolia routing for the final round.

All players in the competition will be considered for Overall Champion regardless of tees. 

DIVISIONS/FLIGHTS

The tournament will consist of divisions and flights based upon U.S. Adaptive Open Impairment Categories.

 

YARDAGES & TEES

Yardages and tees will be released following the close of entries and will be based on Gender and Impairment Category.

PRACTICE ROUNDS

Practice rounds at Bobby Jones Golf Course are subject to existing rates and may be booked by clicking here. Players should verify the day's course routing (Azalea or Magnolia) when booking a practice round. Only one course routing may be played per practice round day.

GOLF SHOP & DRIVING RANGE

The golf shop and all practice areas will open one hour prior to the first tee time each day of the tournament.

CART & RANGE FEES

Tournament round cart and range fees are included in the entry fee.

STARTING TIMES

November 16: 1 - 2 p.m.

November 17: 8:30 - 9:30 a.m.

Starting times for the tournament will be assigned by the GSGA and communicated to all players via email and text. You may also visit www.gsga.org for complete pairing information and starting times approximately one week prior to the tournament. 

REGISTRATION

On-site registration will be held at Bobby Jones Golf Course prior to the first round on Saturday, November 16. Additional details will be communicated with the field following the close of entries.

PLAYER RECEPTION & MEAL

A player reception and meal will take place Saturday, November 16 following the first round. This event is included in the entry fee. More details will be made available following the close of entries.

CADDIES & PLAYER AIDES

Players are responsible for planning for a caddie and/or player aide should they choose to use one. A limited number of caddies and/or player aides can be made available by the GSGA upon advanced request. Players may ride in a cart or walk. Caddie/player aide requests may be made to Jeremy Freyman - jfreyman@gsga.org

RULES OF PLAY/PACE OF PLAY/CART POLICY

FOOD SERVICE

Food service will be available for lunch and dinner on tournament days.  Cash and credit cards will be accepted.

PRIZES

Prizes will be awarded to the Overall, Women's, and Seated divisions for net finishes. The top finisher in each Impairment Category will also be awarded.

REFUND POLICY

A $30 service charge will be retained by the GSGA on all refunds granted prior to the close of entries. Entry fees will not be refunded after entries close unless there is a waiting list and your spot can be filled. Withdrawals after the close of entries must be made by contacting Jeremy Freyman at jfreyman@gsga.org or

HOST SITE INFORMATION

Bobby Jones Golf Course boasts one of the few reversible golf courses in the United States. For the tournament, both the Magnolia & Azalea routings will be utilized.
