MOBILE SCORING: Players are asked to score for their playing partners thru the golf genius mobile app and log-in with the GGID code provided on the day.
- Download the Golf Genius App from the app store.
- Enter the GGID provided to log-in. The scorecard will come up for your group.
- Select any of the players to start scoring.
- Make sure you save the scores after each hole.
All players are required to keep a scorecard and keep their own score even if they are scoring for their partner on the app. If they do not have the app, they must keep their playing partner’s score on top part of the card, and their own on the bottom of the card.
In cases where not all players in a group can score on the app, we will nominate one player to keep all 4 scores on the app for the group.
In fairness to the field regarding LIVE SCORING, if a single player (or group) fails to enter scores on the mobile app, they will not be allowed to access their phones or mobile devices at any time during the round other than for emergency phone call purposes. Failure to adhere will result in a one-time warning per season. A second and any successive breach will result in a one-shot penalty per breach.
VERIFYING SCORES AFTER THE ROUND
SIGN THE LEFT SIDE OF THE CARD YOU ARE GIVEN TO VERIFY THE SCORES YOU HAVE RECORDED FOR YOUR PLAYING PARTNER
SIGN THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE SAME CARD TO VERIFY THE SCORES YOUR MARKER HAS RECORDED FOR YOU ARE CORRECT.
PLEASE VERIFY THAT CARD ONCE IT IS PLACED ON THE SCORING TABLE.
Once you have signed and verified both scores, place your scorecard on the folder on the scoring table so we may take a picture of your card. Drop your scorecard into the box on the scoring table once it is signed.
Once in the box and you have left the scoring area, all scores are considered final and any decisions will be based on the picture of the scorecard.
