Welcome to the 109th Southwestern Amateur Championship

Desert Mountain has been the home of the Southwestern Amateur since 2013. We feel it is the absolute best venue in the entire Southwest and maybe the entire country.  The Outlaw course will host us this year - as they did in 2021 for the inaugural playing
of the Women’s Division. We are pleased to announce the Women’s Division is now as a member of the Elite Amateur Golf Series.
 

Our tournament ratings for our Men’s Division continues to be in the top 5 percent of men’s tournaments open to “all ages.”  The Women’s Division has had extremely high ratings during the past three years and are honored to be part of the Elite Amateur Golf Series. 

Enjoy the wonderful breakfasts and lunches, as well as the excellent practice facilities.  Thanks to a wonderful gift from The Thunderbirds, participants will get complimentary carts for each round.  .

All Directors, Rules Officials, Volunteers and Desert Mountain teammates are ready to make your experience the best of the entire year. Feel free to ask them any questions.
