Entry Fee:  $250 per player

 

 

 

DATES:  Dec 9-11, 2024  

 

FORMAT: 36 Hole Maximum Score Stroke Play Event. The maximum score for a hole is 10. Players are asked to pick up if they reach the maximum score. Players will compete for an overall Men's & Women's title, as well as within their Impairment Category.

 

FIELD SIZE:  60 players

 

REGISTRATION DEADLINE:  Thursday, Oct 31, 2024.     

 

YARDAGE:  Event yardage will be posted on the website. 

                                                                                   

ELIGIBILITY:  All players, including professionals, must have an up to date handicap index through the GHIN system. Players must also have a valid WR4GD Pass. For more information on a WR4GD Pass, please go to: https://edgagolf.com/online/pass/. SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

Monday, Dec 9       Official Practice Round

8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Clinic open to public

12:00 p.m. Shotgun Start For Official Practice Round

5:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Welcome Reception and Dinner for all players and guests. Players may bring one accompanied guest included in the entry fee and may pay $50 for any additional guests. 
                          

Tuesday, Dec 10     First Round

9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Start from #1 and #10 tees

Lunch provided during round.

5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Social Hour @ Pitch Scottsdale (6350 E Thomas Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85251) for all players and guests (Drink tickets and Appetizers provided. Beer, Wine, Seltzers and soft drinks)

 

 

Wednesday, Dec 11     Final Round

9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Start from #1 and #10 tees

4:00 p.m. Awards Ceremony and Dinner for all players and guests. Players may bring one accompanied guest included in the entry fee and may pay $35 for any additional guests. 

                                                                                   

PRACTICE ROUNDS:  One official practice round is included in your entry fee (December 9th). Additional practice rounds may be booked by calling the Papago Golf Shop and stating you are a competitor in the Arizona Adaptive Open. 


PAIRINGS: Tournament pairings will be emailed to participants by end of day on Monday, Dec 2.

 

PRACTICE FACILITY:  Will be available one hour prior to play each morning. 

 

CADDIES & PLAYER AIDES: Players are responsible for bringing a caddie and/or player aide should they choose to use one. Each group will have an AZ Golf representative to assist with live scoring.

 

GOLF CARTS: The use of golf carts is included in the registration fee; however, players are permitted to walk if interested.  All participants will receive their own golf cart. Due to the limited number of carts, there will be no carts available for additional spectators.

 

WITHDRAW POLICY:  

  • Players who withdraw prior to the close of registration will receive 100% of the entry fee, regardless of reason. 
  • Players who withdraw after the close of registration will receive 50% of the entry fee, regardless of reason.
