CHAMPIONSHIP FORMAT:
- 36 Holes of stroke-play qualifying to determine 32 match play qualifiers
- 135 players, comprised of exempt players and qualifiers, will compete in the championship
Monday, July 8: Round One of Qualifying - 18 Holes Stroke Play
Tuesday, July 9: Round Two of Qualifying - 18 Holes Stroke Play
Wednesday, July 10: Match Play - Round of 32 - Morning
Thursday, July 11: Match Play - Round of 16 - Morning
Thursday, July 11: Match Play - Quarterfinals - Afternoon
Friday, July 12: Match Play - Semifinals - Morning
Saturday, July 13: Match Play - 36 Hole Final - Morning
Qualifying for Match Play: 36 Holes - Stroke Play to determine 32 match play qualifiers. In the event of a tie, final qualifying places shall be decided by a sudden death playoff immediately following the completion of scheduled play.
PACE OF PLAY POLICY: A new policy is being introduced for this year's Amateur. Pace will initially be monitored through score entry into the Golf Genius scoring App. Please enter scores for each hole promptly. This will avoid any unnecessary contact with officials. FOOD & BEVERAGE: Lunch on the two days of qualifying was included in the entry fee. Will be available for purchase by cash/credit card for the rest of the week.
DRIVING RANGE: Will be available and included in the entry fee. The range is limited to 150 yards and mats only. There is a driving net to hit longer clubs.
PRACTICE ROUNDS: Are available by calling the Warwick CC Golf Shop. 401-737-9878. The fee is $200.00 for an unaccompanied guest, includes cart fee. Available for players only (no caddies, parents or friends). If a player knows a member of Warwick CC, arranging a round with them will result in a lower fee.
LOCKER ROOM: Will be available each day at 6:45 a.m.
CART & CADDIE POLICY: Motorized carts are not permitted for use during the Championship Proper. A player may take a caddie, use a push/pull cart or carry their own bag at any stage of the competition.
