Team Formation
Teams must be made up of four players all of whom are members in good standing of one of the LPGA Amateur Golf Association chapters listed above ("Participating Chapters") with a verifiable USGA Handicap Index. The LPGA Amateurs Gender Policy applies to this tournament.
At least three players on each team must be members of the same chapter. Members of multiple chapters can decide which chapter they want to represent. During registration, players must identify the chapter their team is representing, their team captain, and team name. All players must spell their team captain and team name the same way.
Registration Process
1. Registration will be conducted as outlined below.
a. Phase 1. Registration will be open for 8 days.
b. Phase 2. Registration will re-open if the event is not at full capacity.
2. Individual registration.
a. Every player must register themselves. There will NOT be an opportunity to register other players.
b. The last player on a team to register will determine the team's place in the first come-first serve queue.
c. All players will go into a "Pending Registration" status. Credit card authorizations will be approved but cards will not be charged until a player goes into the "Confirmed Roster."
3. Teams moving to the Confirmed Roster.
a. When all players from a team are registered, the team will be manually moved to a "Waitlist".
b. Once Phase 1 ends, teams will be moved into the Confirmed Roster based on Field Composition (described below) and credit cards will be charged.
c. In Phase 2, when all players from a team are registered, the team may be moved directly from "Pending Registration" to the Confirmed Roster (bypassing the Waitlist). Again, credit cards will be charged when a player goes into the Confirmed Roster.
Field Composition
Participating Chapters are allotted slots for four teams from each chapter.
- During Phase 1, if a Participating Chapter has up to four teams register, all four teams will be moved to the Confirmed Roster.
- During Phase 1, if a Participating Chapter has more than four teams register, the teams representing that chapter will be moved to the Confirmed Roster based on the order in which the last player on a team registered (i.e., first come-first served). In this example, the fifth team to register will not be moved to the Confirmed Roster while the first, second, third and fourth teams to register will be moved to the Confirmed Roster.
- Once Phase 1 has closed, if a chapter has less than four teams register, the extra slot(s) will open up to teams from other chapters. Teams that are not on the Confirmed Roster will be given these extra slots on a first come-first served basis.
- In Phase 2, if there are still available slots, registration will be open to additional teams on a first come-first served basis.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellations and/or refunds will only be processed for an entire team. Individual refunds will not be processed. For substitutions, payments must be handled internally within the team.
Team cancellations made prior to final registration deadline will receive a refund.
- If we have already processed the credit card, a 10% processing fee will be retained for all refunds.
- If your team is on a pending registration list or a waitlist and the credit card has not been processed, then the team will simply be removed from the list and the authorization will be canceled, no processing fee will be retained.
- Cancellations made after the close of the final registration deadline are non-refundable and will cause the participants to incur a 100% forfeiture of their entry fee.
Tournament Format
- This will be an 18 hole scramble event using the Ambrose handicapping method for net scoring. The Ambrose Team Handicap method is fifty percent of the average of the four players' course handicaps.
- Tee sheets will be available three days before the tournament.
