USGA Waitlist Policies & Procedures

Players may remove themselves from the waiting list at any given time, or, prior to the close of entries, transfer to a site with availability. Following the close of entries, players may not sign up for a waiting list, transfer between waiting lists or transfer to another qualifying site.

 

Up until three(3) days prior to the qualifier, if the qualifying site becomes available due to a withdrawal, the player will be automatically assigned to that site and charged the appropriate entry fee. If their credit card is declined, they will have 24 hours to complete payment or their spot will be forfeited.

 

The player will be notified via email that he has been accepted to the qualifying site. If this occurs after the close of entries, the NYSGA will provide the appropriate player information and tee time (if available).

 

Once it is within 3 days (72 hours) of the qualifier, there will not be any replacements of withdrawn players. Any players still on a waiting list will be withdrawn.
