Welcome to the PGA of Ontario Match Play Championship

The PGA of Ontario Match Play Brackets have been completed and were seeded as per the 2023 Breenie Cup Standings.

The deadline dates for the match are as follows:

Round of 64 – June 25th

Round of 32 – July 30th

Round of 16 – August 27th

Round of 8 – September 17th

Semi-finals and Finals will be played at Magna Golf Club on Thursday, September 26th, 2024

Match Guidelines
 

• Players are responsible for the cost of their green fees.
• Both players must agree upon which tee markers to play. Failing an agreement, matches must be played from a minimum of 6500 yards.
• Matches not played by the deadline date will result in a coin flip to determine which player advances.
• All matches will be played (extra holes) until a winner is declared.
• The winner of the match is responsible for reporting the match result and where it was played to Jerri McRogers i.e., 4&3 and the facility the match was played at.

Match Play Tier: 1-50pts/ 2-40pts/ 3-38pts/ 4-36pts / Rd8-30pts/ Rd16–20pts/ Rd32-10pts /Rd64-2pts

Seeing as it may be challenging to book tee times as a guest, we suggest that members play their matches at their respective host facilities.
