The Carolinas Women's Four-Ball Championship, which began in 1978, is the oldest women's CGA championship. The championship is conducted at 36 holes of four-ball stroke play. This competition includes gross scores only. Teams are flighted based on 18-hole score, depending on the number of entries. Entry is open to any female amateur golfer that has reached her 13th birthday and maintains a residence in North Carolina or South Carolina, is a member in good standing of a club which is a member of the Carolinas Golf Association and has an active GHIN® USGA Handicap Index®.
