Pairings for the 2024 US Open Final Qualifying at OSU Golf Club-Scarlet Course will be published on Friday, May 31 and will be found HERE. To view Round 2 times, change the drop down in the upper left of the page.  
Round 1 tee times will begin at 7:00 a.m. and the last round 1 tee time will be 8:50 a.m.  

Round 2 tee times will begin at 12:45 p.m. and the last round 2 tee time will be 2:35 p.m.

Please note that practice rounds are for contestants and are available based on availability.

COURSE YARDAGES & HOLE LOCATIONS
The intended yardages are posted HERE.  
These are subject to change without notice. 

 

Printed copies of hole locations will be distributed at your starting hole.  Hole Location charts will also be posted to the event portal under the Memo to Players and Information section around 8:00 p.m.  

 

FORMAT/QUALIFYING PLACES:
Stroke play competition conducted over 36 holes.  Field size is 68.  The number of qualifying places will be announced at your starting hole on Monday morning.  

 

REGISTRATION
We will have volunteers walking around the practice facilities prior to the start of Round 1.  This helps us determine if we are missing players and need to modify pairings.  Locally Exempt players who withdraw from this point forward will not be replaced.  

 

PLAYOFF
In the event of a tie for the last qualifying places or alternates, there will be a hole by hole playoff to determine the final qualifiers and the 1st and 2nd alternate if necessary.  All announcements regarding the play-off will be made at the scoreboard upon completion of the qualifying round. 

 

DRIVER LENGTH

Model Local Rule G-10 limiting Driver Length to 46" is not in effect.  

 

GREEN READING MATERIAL
Previous years yardage books that have green reading information from OSU GC may not meet the proper scaling.

Model Local Rule G-11 requiring players to only use yardage books approved by the committee is not in effect for this qualifier but will be in effect for the Championship.

 

DISTANCE MEASURING DEVICES are permitted as long as distance is the only feature used.  

 

METAL SPIKES

Model Local Rule G-7 is not in effect.  Metal spikes are permitted at this qualifier.  

 

DRIVERS/GOLF BALLS
The Local Rule for Conforming Driver Heads is in effect, see Model Local Rule G-1.  The Local Rule requiring that all golf balls used be on the List of Conforming Golf Balls is in effect.  See Model Local Rule G-3.  Please check the USGA website, www.usga.org, for a list of approved golf balls and drivers.  The “One Ball Rule” is NOT in effect.  See Model Local Rule G-4. 

 

PACE OF PLAY
It is a condition that players must play without undue delay and in accordance with guidelines established by the committee.  Nine Hole pace is 2 hours and 15 minutes.  18 hole pace is 4 hours and 30 minutes.  Or staying within 15 minutes of the group ahead.    

 

PRACTICE RANGE:
Will open at 6:00 a.m. 

 

CARTS
Players and caddies must not ride on any form of transportation during a round unless authorized by the Committee.  Push carts are permitted.  

 

SPECTATORS are permitted.  No spectator carts.  No Exceptions! 

 

CODE OF CONDUCT
As set forth in the USGA application, the code of conduct applies to all USGA Qualifying and Championships.  

 

PERSONAL APPEARANCE
Contestants and caddies must be neat in appearance.  No denim, No cargo pants or cargo shorts, shirts must have collars.  

 

CLUB POLICIES
Men must remove hats indoors.  Please check with club on their cell phone policy.  

 

FOOD SERVICE
Breakfast WILL not be available at the club.  
Lunch for players and caddies will be complimentary and served between 11:15 a.m. and 2:40 p.m.
