The Gold (Par 72) tees will be played with possible modifications of yardage.

Handicaps will be updated on June 24, 2024.

 

Format and Rules:

We are going to use the recommendations from the Rules of Handicapping and change the format for the sets of six holes from what was published on the entry.   

 

Holes 1-6  Alternate Shot.  Team handicap will be calculated by taking 50% of the sum of the two players Course Handicaps and then apply the "dots" where they fall on the scorecard for holes 1-6. 

 

Holes 7-12 Scramble.  Team handicap will be calculated by taking 35% of the low players course handicap on the team and 15% of the other player on the teams course handicap.  "Dots" will be applied where they fall on holes 7-12.  

 

Holes 13-18 Best Ball.  Each player will receive 85% of their course handicap and "dots" will be applied where they fall on holes 13-18.  

 

Payouts to the Top 8 teams gross and Top 8 teams net.  A team can only win once and will win where they make more shop credit.  

 

Iced Tea, Coffee and Water will be available beginning at 7:30 a.m. Practice range opens at 7:30 a.m.

 

 

Lunch will be a buffet after the round. 

 

 

A few important notes during this time:   

The printed scorecard is official and will need to be turned into scoring.  GGID codes will be on the scorecards and if possible we ask one person in the group to record the score.  

 

We will have copies of the local rules on your cart and one scorecard per team with your team responsible for keeping the score of the other team in your group.  There will not be a hole location sheet.
