The GolfBC Group BC Women’s Open presented by BTM Lawyers is a professional golf championship contested at Pitt Meadows Golf Club from June 20-22nd, 2024. 

36-HOLE TOURNAMENT CRITERIA 

 

  • A 36-Hole Flighted Championship (June 20-21st) - Senior Amateurs (55+) and amateurs 4.1 to 26.0 index.
    • The max field for this event is 40 players.  The tournament dates for the 36-hole event are June 20-21st.
    • Players are asked use the "Register for this Event" button at the top RH side of this webpage.   

 

36-HOLE (FLIGHTED) CHAMPIONSHIP

The 36-Hole Flighted Championship is comprised of Senior Amateurs (55+) and female amateurs with handicap index ranges of 4.1 to 26.0. The full field is 40 golfers.

The event is NOW OPEN for registrations for all female golfers with registered handicaps from 4.1 to 26.0.

 PARTICIPATION INCLUDES

  • two competition rounds at Pitt Meadows Golf Club on June 20-21st.
  • Driving range warm-up both days
  • One complimentary practice round per player (see details on how to book below)
  • Prize Purses offered for each player division and/or handicap flight (see below)
  • Player’s package including a first tee welcome gift ($150 value)
  • $40 in Food and Beverage credit for each player
  • Friday afternoon refreshments & draw prizes on the patio! Sponsored by Boyd Autobody & Glass!!

 

ENTRY FEE

  • 36-Hole Event Amateur entry Fee: $350 plus GST ($367.50)
  • There is a $100+GST admin fee for processing any withdrawals after May 30th and up until June 10th.  After June 10th, any withdrawals will be subject to a full loss of entry.

36-HOLE EVENT PRIZE PURSE (Seniors & 4.1 to 26.0 hdcp)

FOUR DIVISIONS: 

  • Alternating gross and net results will be used to determine prize pay-outs within each division:
    • Senior Division (55+ years as of June 20th)
    • Two Handicap Divisions (4.1 to 26.0)
  • $50/player will be allocated to the prize purse.
  • Top 25% of each Division will earn gift card prizing.
  • Winners will be emailed with the amount of their gift card value and how to redeem their winnings. 
  • Players will have until Oct.30th, 2024 to redeem their gift cards.

PRACTICE ROUND BOOKING PROCEDURES

 

LOCAL PLAYERS:

Local competitors are asked to arrange their one complimentary practice round at a convenient time for the golf club within the 4 weeks prior to the tournament date. 

Please contact the Pitt Meadows Pro-Shop staff either by email at wdoka@pittmeadowsgolf.com or by phoning the golf shop at 604.465.4711.  Please provide your name and introduce yourself as a BC Women's Open competitor seeking to play their complimentary practice round.  Practice rounds for local golfers will be available up to and including Tuesday, June 18th.

 

OUT-OF-TOWN COMPETITORS:

For out-of-town competitors, especially those competing in the US Open qualifier on June 17th, we have a block of practice round tee-times reserved on the morning of Wednesday, June 19th between 7:30-9:00am. The tee will also be open after 5pm that afternoon to book.

 

To book into this block of practice round times, please email Wes Doka at your earliest convenience at wdoke@pittmeadowsgolf.com or call the golf shop directly at 604.465.4711.  Out-of-town players may also book their practice rounds in the 4 weeks in advance, or on the afternoon of Tuesday, June 18th. 

 

**PLEASE MAKE PRACTICE ROUND ARRANGEMENTS AT YOUR EARLIEST CONVENIENCE!!

The Pitt Meadows Golf Club membership will have access to tee-times up to 14 days in advance.  So please ensure you book your tee-time in the coming days before membership takes access to the golf course. 

 

ADDITIONAL (PAID) PRACTICE ROUNDS

For players looking for additional practice round opportunities, please either call or email the Pitt Meadows golf shop, and inform the staff that you are a competitor seeking out an additional (paid) practice round to your first complimentary round.  

Tee-times will be at the discretion of the Pitt Meadows Golf Club.  Players seeking to play a second or third practice round will be subject to the posted Pitt Meadows guest green fee rate.
