VSWGA Fees:  Registration costs $10/player. There are no late-adds after 7:00 a.m. on Monday, Aug 19. Preliminary tee sheets can be viewed on this website in the Tee Sheet drop down menu.  The event info is listed below.  This info will also be sent via email by the Friday before the event.

Course and Cart Fees:

  • Players must pay the course and cart fees directly to the club through the Pro Shop.
  • Course fee is $25 per person. 
  • Cart fee is $24 per person.  Walking is permitted, no fee. Golfers do NOT need to call the Golf Shop to reserve a cart. Two carts allowed per foursome, please.

Cancellations/Refunds: 

  • There will be no refunds for cancellations after 7:00 a.m. the day before the State Day.
  • If you cancel prior to 7:00 a.m. the day before the State Day, there will be a $5 refund per person cancelled.
  • Remember, there are no full refunds, so be sure you and your friend can play the event before registering. 

Local Rules:

  • Will be handed out the day of the event. 

Pace of Play

  • Pace of Play is 4 hours 20 min. 
  • Player’s starting time and finishing time must be recorded on the completed scorecard:
    • Starting Time:  Time that the first player in the group tees off of 1.
    • Finish Time:  Time when the last player finishes 18.
  • USGA Rule 5.6 encourages prompt play and ready golf, even playing out of turn, in a safe and responsible manner to save or make up playing time.
  • Remember that you are only allowed 3 minutes to look for a lost ball.

 Other Info:

  • There will be 2 Closest to the Pin Holes available, Hole #9 and Hole #13. 
  • No skins.
  • All golfers will play from the White/Gold tees.  (note that this is different from the member handbook).
  • Water is available outside the proshop and at the 10th tee to fill/refill bottles players bring.  Water is available for purchase in the proshop for $2.

  • Please note, we now have merchandise and clothing in the pro shop. Players can bring their VSWGA chits if they want.  We have something different from other clubs.  Besides new merchandise, we have a gently used clothing section to support The Okemo Valley Junior Golf Foundation, which has supported individual junior golfers and high schools in the area since 2012.  Items, which are name brand golf clothing, are for sale at $12.95 each.  100% of the proceeds go to the Junior Golf Foundation.
