Host Course: Augusta Country Club, 19 Hammonds Grove, Manchester, ME
Withdrawals: Please advise Maine Golf immediately by emailing mike@mainegolf.org if you are unable to compete. Failure to advise Maine Golf of a withdrawal may disqualify the player from future competitions.
Automotive Transportation: The use of automotive transportation is permitted. Carts will be available and can be rented at the player's expense from the pro shop. No more than two carts are permitted in any group. If carts are limited at the host site, players may be required to share carts. No two single carts can go out in any pairing, even if one or both players have a caddie. Seats are NOT guaranteed for caddies and players should assume that caddies will need to walk.
Caddies & Push Carts: Players are permitted to employ a caddie and/or use a push cart.
Competition Tees / Yardage: Competition tees and yardages are approximate and subject to change. Play will be from the Maine Golf white tee markers, which will correspond roughly with the Augusta BLACK tee yardage (approx. 6,170 yards - Par 70).
Golf Shop and Practice Facilities: The pro shop and clubhouse facilities will be open and available at 6:30 a.m. The driving range at the course is IRONS ONLY. One bag of range balls per player per day is included in the championship entry fee.
Food & Beverage: Food and beverage during the tournament is the responsibility of the players. No breakfast service will be available, though lunch will be available each day from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The bar and lounge area will remain open until 8:00 p.m.
Practice Rounds: Practice rounds may be scheduled through the golf shop by calling (207) 623-9624. The only charge will be a cart fee $25 per player. Practice rounds will be available as the tee sheet dictates after 12:00 p.m. any day.
Pace of Play: Pace of play times will be communicated by the starter and will also be printed hole-by-hole on competitors' scorecards so groups can track where they should be on the golf course. To view the newly-revised Pace of Play policy from the Maine Golf Rules Committee, click here.
