ISCO Championship Open Qualifier Information

 

The ISCO Championship Open Qualifier will be contested Monday, July 8th, 2024 at Boone's Trace National Golf Club (Richmond, KY). The format will be 18-holes of stroke play with the low 4 scores advancing to the ISCO Championship.

 

All amateur and professional applicants must pre-qualify, except the following competitors who are exempt from pre-qualifying:

  • 2023-2024 Season PGA TOUR member
  • Current Korn Ferry Tour members
  • Current Champions Tour regular members
  • Three (3) exemptions from the Kentucky PGA Section
  • Former PGA TOUR Members from 2020-2023
  • Players making a cut on the PGA Tour in the 2023-2024 season
  • Players in the top 100 on the World Golf Rankings as of the non-member entry deadline.
  • Players in the PGA Tour event immediately preceding the Open Qualifier

 

Entry Fee:

Successful Pre-Qualifier - $250

Successful PGA Tour Americas Pre-Qualifier- $100

 

2023-2024 PGA Tour Member - $0

Former PGA Tour Member '20-'23 - $500
Korn Ferry Tour Member or Champions Tour Member - $100     

Players making a cut on the PGA TOUR in 2023-2024 season - $500
Players in the top 100 on the World Golf Rankings as of the non-member entry deadline - $500
Player in the PGA TOUR event immediately preceding the Open Qualifier - $500

PGA Section Exemptions- $500

PGA Tour Americas who are exempt into open qualfying-$300

 

The 2024 ISCO Championship Open Qualifier will be played under the PGA Tour Hard Card.

 

Information Items:

 

Eligibility:

All Professionals and any Amateur with a handicap index when applied to the qualifying course slope will generate a handicap of two (2) or less. 

 

The PGA TOUR reserves the right to verify the handicap index of amateurs and to refuse anyone not meeting the requirements.

 

Dress Code:

While on the host facility property, players shall present a neat appearance in both clothing and personal grooming.  Blue jeans, cutoffs, T-shirts shall not be worn. Shorts will be permitted for the Open Qualifier.

Refunds:

Any player that enters the tournament and has to withdraw must do so BEFORE the July 7th (5:00 PM) entry deadline to be eligible for a 90% refund of the entry fee.  Any player withdrawing AFTER the entry deadline will not be eligible for a refund unless the reason for the withdraw meets the Kentucky Section PGA established criteria (substantiated medical or death in family reasons only).  In this case, the player that withdraws must submit a written request to the attention of the Tournament Committee, including the reason for the withdraw.  The committee will determine whether the player is entitled to a 90% refund.  The written request must be received within 10 days of the withdraw.
