Eligibility

Players must be eighteen (18) years of age or younger on the final day of the National Championship (August 2, 2024). Players must be amateurs as defined by the USGA and may not be full-time college students. 

 

Players are NOT allowed to compete for an exemption in more than one Section.  

 

Refund Policy

WD before the deadline - Refund is entry fee less processing fees of 5%  

WD after the deadline - Refund is less tournament expenses (e.g., golf fees, food/beverage, tee gifts, processing fees of 5%)  

WD within 48 hours of the event - No refund

 

Format of Play

36-Holes Individual Stroke Play

 

Practice Round

$25 Per Player Anytime After 11:00 AM.

Approximately 5,900 yards

 

Code of Conduct

Players will not show unsportsmanlike conduct, including cheating, club throwing, abuse of golf course property, physical abuse, threat of physical abuse, or verbal abuse towards other players, parents, coaches, sponsors, host golf course staff or members, PGA staff and officials, and volunteers.

Players will adhere to the PGA dress code at the host facility.

  • PGA Dress Code includes:
    • Hats/visors must be worn with brim forward.
    • Collared shirts or mock turtlenecks (host golf course permitting) must be worn at all times.

Players will not use or associate with drugs, alcohol, vaping, or smoking or chewing tobacco products..

Players agree to care for the golf course and leave it in better condition than they found it

The Championship Committee may assess varying penalties at their discretion pending the severity of the code of conduct breach.

 

Caddies

All North Florida PGA Junior Events are “walking only” competitions. Players must walk at all times during a stipulated round. Caddies are not permitted during the competition. Participants must carry their own clubs or pull/push carts.

 

NOTE: For safety reasons, on holes which the committee is providing/permitting player transportation a person (i.e. parent/spectator) may assist with the player transportation of his/her pull cart. 

 

Spectator Carts

Spectator carts will be available on a first come, first serve basis.

 

Spectator Code of Conduct

  • Spectators agree to remain on the cart path at all times.
  • Spectators agree to refrain from having any contact with players during their Championship rounds.
  • Spectators agree to defer the review and enforcement of rules decisions to the PGA Rules Committee Members.
  • Spectators agree to abstain from caddying during Championship rounds.
  • Spectators agree to demonstrate sportsmanship, respect, and a positive attitude.
  • Spectators agree to abide by any rules and regulations of the host facility (dress code, cell phone policy, etc).
  • Failure to comply with the spectator code of conduct can result in the immediate removal of the individuals involved for the remainder of the Championship. Warnings may not be issued pending the severity of conduct breach.
