Registration Information
Eligibility: Open to all active CGA Members. Registration Opens: Exempt players may register for the championship on March 15, 2024 at 08:00am Registration Deadline: Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at 05:00 PM Entry Fee: $300.00 for exempt players into the championship. Qualifying fees will be $100.00 per player with an additional $200.00 for successful qualifiers. Field Size: Maximum of 84 players based on exemptions and successful qualifiers. Exempt Players: Players who are exempt from qualifying are listed on the exemption list under the "Tournament Information" tab. Qualifying: Players that are not exempt into the championship must qualify at 1 of 6 qualifiers. Players are permitted only one qualifying attempt per championship.

All players must have a handicap index of 5.0 or below by the registration deadline to participate in a qualifier.

Tournament Information
Format: 72 holes of stroke play. A 36-hole cut will be made to the low 40 players and ties. Championship Schedule: Thursday (8/1): 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. off holes #1 and #10 Friday (8/2): 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. off holes #1 and #10 Saturday (8/3): 7:00 a.m. off hole #1 only. Sunday (8/4): 7:00 a.m. off hole #1 only. Walking Only Event: The CGA Amateur Championship is a walking only event (Model Local Rule G-6 in effect). Players may carry their bag, bring a caddie or use a push cart. Caddies may also use push carts. Driving Range: The driving range will be available at 6:30 a.m. each morning at no additional cost to the player. Player Food: Player food will be the responsibility of the player for cash or credit card. Practice Round Information: Practice rounds are available at Eisenhower Golf Course - Blue Course Monday – Thursday after 2:00pm and Friday-Sunday after 4:00pm. Civilian rate is is $90 to walk and $108 to ride. Call golf shop and identify yourself as a CGA Amateur Championship competitor. Score Posting: Scores from each round will be posted to GHIN by CGA staff as competition scores. USGA Exemption Event: The following exemptions will be awarded based off of performance in the 88th CGA Amateur Championship: Champion: Exempt into 2024 U.S. Amateur Championship Top-3 Finishers: Exempt from Local Qualifying for the 2025 U.S. Amateur Championship
