History of the Women's Play Day: The Women's Play Day inaugural event took place in 2022. This event is a way to introduce women to Mass Golf in a noncompetitive format. The fun, casual and non-competitive atmosphere is the perfect combination for you to enjoy a day of golf with old and new friends.
Format:
- 9 holes of golf in groups of 4.
Tees: Mass Golf Red Tees from ~4,752 yards. The course will play as a Par 72
Clinic: Please plan to arrive before 1:00 p.m. for a 1:15 p.m. clinic hosted by Tom Cavicchi, Director of Golf.
Shotgun Times: 2:30 p.m. shotgun start
Scorecards: Paper scorecards will be provided to all participants for the player’s own notes.
Practice Areas: The driving range and putting green will be accessible before play starting at 12:30 p.m.
Pace of Play: Pace for this round is 4 hours and 30 minutes. Please ensure that you are keeping within a hole of the group in front of you.
Rules of Golf: The USGA® Rules of Golf, Local Rules and Terms of Competitions for Mass Golf Tournaments govern all play.
Mass Golf Policies & Procedures: Please refer to Policies & Procedures and Pace of Play Policy.
Distance-Measuring Devices: Permitted as specified in Mass Golf Policies & Procedures.
Bathrooms: Bathrooms are located in the clubhouse.
Water and Snacks: Water is provided on your golf carts at the beginning of play. Drinks and Snacks are available in the clubhouse for purchase cash and credit card accepted. Alcoholic and Non Alcoholic beverages available for purchase in the grill room.
Food and Beverage: Box lunches will be provided prior to your round. We will also be sampling our new seltzer sponsor Cape Cod'R during the round,
