The Cape Fear/Wilmington NC Chapter is honored to host this year's Magnolia Challenge 

from Friday, November 15th through Sunday, November 17, 2024, at The Clubs at St. James, Southport, NC

The Clubs at St. James showcases the magnificent views of the Coastal Carolinas, and 81 holes of exciting,

challenging golf. Both ambitious and inviting, The Clubs at St. James defines diverse, adventurous golf

experiences like nowhere else. With four immaculately maintained championship courses and respective

practice facilities to elevate your game, the venue is part of The Troon Golf Collection. We will be playing

the Members Course and the Founders Course.

The Azaleas vs. The Camellias

New this year, we have changed the teams, since it has been increasingly hard to field a full H.O.T.S team.

The Magnolia Challenge this year will be be between the Azaleas and The Camellias.

The Saturday golf will be a fourball Match Play format on the Members Course and 

Sunday will be a 4-person fun scramble on the Founders Course. 

The price per player is $310, excluding accommodation. This price will include two days of all-inclusive golf, tips for cart staff, a welcome Tee gift, a Friday evening social with heavy appetizers and a drink ticket, a Saturday breakfast, a Saturday buffet Awards luncheon, and a Sunday grab-n-go breakfast.

Practice Rounds 

For those wanting to play optional Thursday and/or Friday practice rounds, the cost is $67 + tax. You must reserve and pay for your optional tee time directly with the pro shop at 910-477-8500.

Registration

Registration opened on April 1, 2024. Players must be active members of the listed chapters and have an established handicap. We are looking to field 144 players.
