Registration Opens: February 21, 2024 at 9:00am EST

 

Registration Closes: April 10, 2024 at 5:00pm EDT

 

Field Size: Maximum of 84 players.

 

Entry Fee: $200

 

Amateur Handicap Limit 0.4


 

Tournament Information

Format: 18 holes of stroke play

 

Tee Times: 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. off holes #1 and #10 

 

Walking Only Event: The U.S. Open and its qualifiers are walking only events, players may carry their bag or have a caddie. Players may not ride in a motorized cart.

 

Mobile Scoring: Players will score on their cell phones using the Golf Genius App. Please CLICK HERE to view the mobile scoring instructions.

 

Qualifying Positions: 5

 

Alternate Positions: 2

 

Driving Range: The driving range will be made available by 6:30 a.m. at no additional charge to the player.

 

Practice Round Information: Available at a rate of $47, Monday - Thursday. Please call the golf shop to set up a time.

 

Player Food: Player food will be the responsibility of the player.

 

Score Posting: The CGA will post tournament scores for all Amateur players.

 

 

USGA Policies & Local Rules in Effect

Distance Measuring Devices: During Qualifying rounds, the use of electronic distance-measuring devices to measure distance is allowed (subject to certain requirements). However, during the Championship Proper, the Local Rule as prescribed in Section 8 of the Committee Procedures is in effect and prohibits the use of electronic distance-measuring devices. Green Maps: Please note that any green reading materials must adhere to the 2023 updated standards.

 

Prohibiting Use of Audio and Video Devices: During a round, a player must not listen to or watch content of any nature on a personal audio or video device (G-8).

 

Replacement of Broken or Significantly Damaged Club: Model Local Rule G-9 is in effect. CLICK HERE for a full explanation.

 

Official in Charge: An official in charge cannot set-up a golf course or officiate Rules if that person is also a participant at the qualifying site.

 

Clubs: Grooves - Local Rule as prescribed in Section 8 of the Committee Procedures is in effect. Model Local Rule G-3.

 

Footwear: It is a condition at all qualifying sites unless otherwise indicated by an asterisk on this entry application that shoes with traditionally-designed spikes (regardless of composition, i.e., ceramic, plastic, etc.) or spikes, regardless of design, comprised either entirely or partially of metal (if such metal may come in contact with the course) are prohibited during the stipulated round.
