Tournament Details and Eligibility
The BOYD AUTOBODY Tour Championship is the final VGT event where points will qualify for the 2024 CLEVELAND/SRIXON Order of Merit.
FULL FIELD: 60 amateurs and 24 Professionals
TOUR CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFYING LIST:
- The top 24 VGT Professional Members on the Srixon/Cleveland Order of Merit as of Aug.13th
- The top 12 VGT Members in all four Amateur Divisions (Champ, Div.1, Div.3, Div.3) on the SRIXON/CLEVELAND Order of Merit as of August 8th.
- The top 6 VGT Members in the Senior Division
- The top 6 VGT Members in the Women’s Championship Flight.
Players are asked to register in advance through Golf Genius. All entries will be held as pending until we can determine the qualifying players in each division and handicap flight.
- Qualifying VGT Members will have priority entry into the event until August 28th.
- After August 28th, if the event is not filled with all qualifying members, all unfilled spots will be filled in priority by the 13th, 14th 15th place member on the Order of Merit (and so on) who has registered for the event by Aug.28th.
- If the event is still not filled with qualifying Members on the Order of Merit by August 28th, all remaining spots will be filled within flight by the order of registration received (non-members included).
TOUR CHAMPIONSHIP FORMAT:
PRO-AM FORMAT (ROUND ONE)
Amateurs will be paired with one of VGT’s Feature Pros or Elite Amateurs to make up a 5-person Pro-Am Team.
The format for the Pro-Am is a best 2 out of 5 net stableford format with maximum score of net double bogey. (Please pickup if you are net double bogey or higher. This includes Pros for gross double bogey). All Pros and Amateurs will play their own ball as round one scores will count for the 2-day total.
36-Hole Stroke Play Championship
All Players will compete within their own flight for Order of Merit Points and prizing as follows:
- PRO PURSE: $11,000 (based on full field of 24 pros). Top 11 Pros will be paid out.
Pros are also playing for year-end awards and bonuses as noted below.
- AMATEUR PRIZING (based on full field per flight)
The top 25% of each Amateur Division will make it to the prize table as follows:

- Division One: Alternating Gross & Net scores
- Division Two: Alternating gross & net scores
- Division Three: Alternating Gross & Net Scores
- Women’s Championship Flight: Based on Gross Scores
- Senior Division: Based on Gross Scores

Entry Includes:
- Amateur Tee-gift: Cutter & Buck jacket + 3 Srixon balls ($140 value)
- Driving Range Warm-up both days
- 36-Holes of Championship Golf at Meadow Gardens Golf Club ($180 value)
- Round One – Pro-Am format. All Amateurs play with a top VGT Pro or Elite Amateur for some team prizing! Round one scores carry over for the 2-day Championship.
- Round Two – Stroke Play (using stableford points) within own division.
- $15,000 in Amateur prizing (based on full field)
- $11,000 Professional Purse (based on 20 Pros)
- On-Course contests for all players (Closest to the Pin, Long Drive)
- Sit-down Dinner & Drinks on Day one
- Lunch at the turn on day 2
- Year-End Awards and Presentations conducted in the clubhouse over a cold refreshment!
- Live Leaderboard Scoring
- Divisional Awards for the 36-Hole event
- Professionally managed with Golf Canada Rules officials

VGT Professionals: $375+GST ($393.75)*
Non-Member Professionals: $450+GST ($472.50)*
VGT Amateur Members: $325+GST ($341.25)
Non-member Amateur: $375+GST ($393.75)
OPTIONAL SKINS GAME: $40/player. Please add this to your payment online.
(Qualifies you for daily skins games + all available $5,000 Hole-in-one jackpot prizes)
*Pro entry includes 2 x $10 green fee donations to Meadow Gardens Junior Golf Program.
CLEVELAND/SRIXON ORDER OF MERIT
Points from this event will count towards the season-ending SRIXON/CLEVELAND Order of Merit Race.
The Professional Order of Merit will be based on the following point system using gross scores over 36-Holes:

- $2,500 SRIXON / CLEVELAND sponsored prize is awarded to the top VGT Member Professional on the 2024 Srixon/Cleveland Order of Merit (To be used for any 2024/23 Q-School (or any Monday Qualifying entries in 2024/25 in absence of Q-Schools).
- $500 ‘ROOKIE OF THE YEAR’ AWARD presented by IGA
- $1,000 TOP CLEVELAND/SRIXON PLAYER - Awarded to the top VGT Member who is a SRIXON brand ambassador
- $5,000 GATEKEEPER SERIES FINALS (October Invitational for 6 VGT Pros)
- $5,000 in AMATEUR ORDER OF MERIT Prizing as follows:
