Eligibility
Open to amateur and professional golfers (male or female). One team member must be an amateur. Amateur team members must have an active USGA Handicap Index.
Entry Fee and Deadline
$305. Deadline for entry is Monday, July 22, 2024 at 11:59 PM.
Field Size
52 teams max
Format
36 holes of four-ball stroke play with two age divisions (Open and Junior). All teams will compete for gross and net scoring. Each team member will receive handicap strokes on those holes equal to or less than his or her course handicap. The team will record the best gross and best net score made on each hole by the team.
Note: The Committee reserves the right to adjust the Playing Handicap of golfers who make exceptional scores as defined by the World Handicap System for subsequent rounds in multi-day events.
Divisions
Two age divisions:
- Open Division for teams that do not have a junior golfer on their team.
- Junior Division for teams that have a junior golfer. Junior Division teams are not allowed to accept gift certificates per KSHSAA rules.
Any team from either division may win the overall championship.
Course Set-Up
The golf course will be set-up at approximately:
- 6,100 yards (male golfers age 14 to 64)
- 5,800 yards (male golfers age 13 & under, male golfers age 65-79 and female golfers age 19 or older)
- 5,000 yards (female junior golfers age 18 & under, male golfers over age 80)
Practice Round
No official practice round is available. Practice round rate is $60 and availability is at the discretion of the host course. Please call the host golf course to inquire.
Clubhouse and Practice Facilities
Clubhouse and practice facilities open one hour prior to the first starting time. Practice facilities are for tournament contestants use only.
Carts, Spectators and Caddies
Carts are included for both rounds of the championship as part of your entry fee. Only one cart is allowed per team.
Caddies are allowed for this event and the actions of the caddie during the round are the responsibility of the player (Rule 10.3c). This is the default position for caddies for Central Links Golf events, but availability may vary from event to event or any other factors affecting this policy. Caddies are allowed to ride on and operate the golf cart, provided space is available. Central Links Golf has a strict two carts per group policy and the carts are reserved for the players first. If a group has more than one caddie, arrangements must be made within the group to accommodate the cart policy.
Spectator carts will NOT be available.

Registration
There will be no registration at this event. You are responsible to be at your assigned starting tee at least five (5) minutes prior to your scheduled starting time. This will give you adequate time to receive instructions and information from the Starter.

Method of Payments
Host course accepts all forms of payment for purchases.
When Competition is Final
The competition is final when the trophy has been presented to the winner or, in the absence of a prize ceremony, when all scores have been approved by the Committee. The Result of a match is final when the Committee has approved the result as posted on the public scoreboard.
