Schedule of Play
Endicott Cup (36-holes; stroke play)
October 8th
- Round 1 (18-holes) – 1:00 PM shotgun start
October 9th
- Round 2 (18-holes) – 10:00 AM shotgun start
- Starting times and pairings will be determined based on Round 1 scores.
- Any tie(s) for first place (gross) will be decided immediately by a hole-by-hole playoff at the conclusion of play on, Oct. 9th (Holes 10 & 9).
- All other ties (gross and net) will be determined using the USGA recommended method (back 9 total (i.e. holes 10-18), back 6 total, back 3 total, etc.).
Tri-State & Eaton Cup Matches (18-holes; match play)
October 10th
- Round 1 (18-holes) – 10:00 AM Shotgun
- The low 7 players & 1 alternate (based on Endicott Cup results) from each state will compete in the Tri-State Matches (gross).
- The next low 7 players & 1 alternate (based on Endicott Cup results) from each state will compete in the Eaton Cup Matches (net).
- Match Scoring:
- Competitors will be competing in two simultaneous matches against competitors form the other two associations. One (1) point will be awarded for every hole won, ½ point for every hole halved and zero (0) points for any hole lost.
- Match Scoring:
Note: Playing handicaps for all net portions of the event will be determined using the October 3rd handicap revision (17.0 max).
Tees: The approximate yardage will be 5,425 yards (White/Green Combo Tees).
Golf Carts: The use of automotive transportation (golf carts) is permitted. Carts are included in the entry fee for the Endicott Cup.
Note: No more than 2 carts will be permitted per group regardless of the number of players and/or caddies in a group.

Practice Round:
Dates & Times
- Wednesday, October 2nd from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM & Monday, October 7th from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
- Please contact the golf shop at (508) 540-1899 and introduce yourself as a competitor to schedule a starting time – competitors MUST call in advance for a tee time - no walk-up times will be available.
Notes
- There will be a MANDATORY cart/trail fee of $30 (Credit Card ONLY) for your practice round.
- Only one ball may be played per competitor during their practice round.
Practice Facilities: Woods Hole GC has a practice range to the left of the 16th hole. Please follow the instructions of the staff, and please also note that there are only 6 spots on the driving range.
- October 8th – Range to open at 11:30 AM.
- October 9th – Range to open at 8:30 AM.
- October 10th – Range to open at 8:30 AM.
Locker Room: Competitors will have access to the locker room facilities. Individual locker space will not be available.
Restrooms: Are located in the clubhouse (9th green), the 7th hole and the 15th hole.
Food & Beverage: Please see below for the daily food & beverage schedule/availability:
- October 8th – Boxed lunch, included in your entry fee, will be staged outside the pro shop.
- October 9th – Light breakfast/coffee will be available (complimentary).
- The Tri-State & Eaton Matches dinner will begin at approx. 6:00pm. A cocktail hour (with hors d’oeuvres) will begin at approx. 5:00pm.
- Bar service will be available at the players expense (cash or credit).
- All Tri-State and Eaton Match competitors are expected to attend dinner.
- October 10th – Light breakfast/coffee will be available (complimentary). Lunch will be available at the player’s expense.
- The Tri-State & Eaton Matches dinner will begin at approx. 6:00pm. A cocktail hour (with hors d’oeuvres) will begin at approx. 5:00pm.
Prizes & Trophies:
Endicott Cup
- The low 36-hole scorer (gross) will be awarded the Endicott Cup Trophy.
- Daily low gross & low net prizes will be awarded in the form of Woods Hole GC golf shop credit.
- Golf shop credit will also be awarded to the low 5 scorers (gross & net) after 36-holes. Players are only permitted to receive one prize (gross biased).
Tri-State & Eaton Matches
- The Tri-State Bowl and the Tri-State Team Handicap Trophy will be awarded to the winning states.
