MISSOURI VS. KANSAS

The Association Senior Cup Matches (65 and older) are goodwill competitions played between teams from the Kansas (Central Links) and Missouri Golf Associations. Players for each team qualified for these competitions through each association's respective Senior Series programs. Opponents prior to the Missouri Golf Association included the Arkansas Golf Association and Kansas City Golf Association.

 

HOW TO QUALIFY

The top seven gross players, top five net players and two gross captain's picks at least 65 years of age or older from the field of the Senior Series Championship will be named to the Missouri Association Senior Cup Team. Only those male members participating in the Senior Series Championship will be named to the Missouri Association Senior Cup Team.

 

FORMAT & SCHEDULE

The Association Senior Cup follows the Ryder Cup style format, which is three rounds of match play consisting of four ball, alternate shot and singles matches.

Teams practice round

 

Wednesday, Oct. 16

First round, morning - Four ball matches

Second round, afternoon - Alternate shot matches

 

Thursday, Oct. 17

Final round - Singles matches
