Registration Fee: $225 per team. Entry fee includes cart fee.

 

Registration Opens: May 20 at 9:00 a.m.

Registration Closes: June 17 at 11:59 p.m.

 

Format: 18-hole greensome (selective drive, alternate shot) gross and net stroke play, 60 percent of low handicap and 40 percent of high handicap. Teams with only one player having a verified USGA Handicap Index will only compete in the Gross Division. There will be two age divisions (13 years of age or younger and 14 to 18 years of age). The Junior-Junior Division (13 years of age or younger) will compete from a shorter set of tees. The following flights will be available in each age division: father/son, father/daughter, mother/son, mother/daughter.  Players may play up with written permission from the GAP Junior Golf Committee.

 

Eligibility: Open to father and son, father-daughter, mother-son and mother daughter teams (child must be 18 years of age or younger) and stepparent and stepchild teams from GAP Member Clubs. Players do not have to be members at the same club. One member of a team must be listed on the GAP Handicap Report. If the other player has a verifiable USGA Handicap Index, the team may compete for net prizes. Otherwise, it will be restricted to the gross competition only.

 

Teams are not permitted to play in more than one Parent/Child event in a calendar year. Children turning 19 before the Parent/Child (Younger) must play in the Parent/Child (Middle). Children turning 30 after the Parent/Child (Older) must play in the Parent/Child (Middle). 

 

Field Size: The field is limited to the first 120 teams.  

 

Practice Rounds: Practice rounds will not be available for this event.

 

Starting Times: Begin at 7:30 a.m. with 10-minute intervals. If field size warrants, morning and afternoon start on Nos. 1 and 10. A parent may enter with two different children based on field availability. The rounds may not be played concurrently.

 

Automotive Transportation: Automotive transportation is required. The $35 cart fee is included with your entry fee.

 

Ties: Ties for low gross in both age groups will be named co-champions. All other ties to be broken by using the USGA-recommended scorecard tiebreaking method.
