Sanctioned Events

 

 

 

Sanctioned Events are mostly in Arizona, unaffiliated with the Arizona Golf Association. Many players who play in AGA events, play in Sanctioned Events as well. We allocate Player of the Year points for these events to help support them and grow the game of golf. The host venue or club is responsible for all event details.

There are three types of Sanctioned Events: Type I, Type II, and Type II (Team). Point allocations will vary based on type of event. Please find point allocations per event under the Points tab on this portal.

 

 

The AGA will review sanctioned events from year to year to ensure that AGA tournament players are participating in the events and the integrity of the Player of the Year Points Lists are being maintained.
