Welcome to the 72nd Oregon Men's Stroke Play Championship

 

 

CHAMPIONSHIP DETAILS

 

Dates: Friday, August 02, 2024 - Sunday, August 04, 2024

 

Site: Emerald Valley Golf Club | Creswell, Ore.

 

Eligibility: Entries are open to male amateur golfers with Handicap Indexes of 5.0 or less, and seniors with Handicap Indexes of 10.0 or less and are members in good standing of an OGA Member Club.

 

  • Open Division: All Contestants must be at least 13 years of age as of August 2, 2024
  • Master 40 Division: All Contestants must be at least 40 years of age as of August 2, 2024
  • Senior Division: All Contestants must be at least 50 years of age as of August 2, 2024

 

Format: 54-hole stroke play competition with a cut to the low half of the field and ties in each division after two rounds of play.

 

Entry Fee: $200

 

Entry Includes:

  • 4 rounds of golf - One practice round and three competitive rounds if cut is made
  • Merchandise certificates will be awarded to top gross finishers in all divisions
  • There are no net prizes in either division
  • Special awards to the Gross Champions in each division

 

Field Limit: The field will be limited to 156 players including Open, Master 40 and Seniors. Entries will be accepted according to the date and time of receipt of entry and entry fee.

Exempt players must meet the eligibility requirements of the Championship and file an entry by the deadline.

 

Deadline: Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at 11:59 PM

Entries are accepted according to the date and time of entry and entry fee. Late entries will be accepted and placed on an alternate list to fill spots if they become available up until a time that the OGA Staff establishes. Late entries will not be accepted unless they are accompanied by the correct entry fee, plus an additional fee of $25. Contestants must contact the OGA in order to submit a late entry.
