Thank you for your entry into the 19th Oregon Super Senior Championship, July 24 and 25 at the OGA Golf Course.  Attached you will find your starting time for Wednesday, July 24th.  We will repair by gross score for Thursday’s final round. To obtain your final round pairing information please visit our website at www.oga.org.  In addition, players should expect to receive a text message and/ or email with their starting time for Thursday’s final round. If you would like to receive a text message with your starting times, please log into your OGA Tournament profile and make sure that your cell phone information is updated.

Tournament Information and Results: Will all be provided digitally on the OGA’s website or through the Golf Genius App, GGID: 24ORSRC.

 

Practice Round: Players may call the pro shop (503) 981-4653 at any time prior to the championship to make practice round arrangements. Practice rounds will be available on a space available basis at any time during the week (except July 23, which will be after 11:00am) and after 2:00pm Friday – Sunday. Practice rounds are for contestants only and will not be extended to guests, caddies, or family members. Players must identify themselves as a contestant in the Super Senior Championship to receive their complimentary practice round.
 

Tees:  Please see attached yardage sheet.  Yardages are subject to change at any time at the discretion of the Tournament Committee.

Food Service: The OGA will provide lunch for players on Wednesday.

 

Golf Carts: Cart fees must be paid to the club at the time of rental.  As a reminder, please follow any cart path restrictions posted by the OGA Golf Course. There will only be two carts allowed per group, players may be asked to pair up.

 

Caddies: You may bring your own; Creekside will not have caddies available.

 

Practice Range: Will be available approximately one hour before the first starting time each day. Range balls will be provided on the driving range.

 

Dress Code: Proper attire must be worn at all times.  Proper attire does not include spandex body wear, cutoffs, running shorts, short-shorts, tank tops, tee shirts, or denim of any kind or color, or unkempt clothing of any kind.  Neat and clean pants, skirts, slacks, cords, or appropriately hemmed, tailored shorts no more than 6 inches above the knee (men’s shorts must have a minimum of three pockets) are acceptable, as are sweaters and sweatshirts, golf shirts (men’s must have collars) women’s golf shirts and golf blouses.  Shoes must be worn at all times. 

 

OGA Pace of Play Guidelines: The OGA pace of play policy will be in effect during this championship.  Pace of play guidelines will also be available before each round at the starter’s tent.

Score Posting: will be done by the OGA for each round after the championship has been completed.  The OGA will post each player’s adjusted score to GHIN as a tournament score, for handicapping purposes. 

 

Format and Prizes:

36-hole stroke play competition. In the event of a tie for the overall Champions in either men’s or women’s division, the winner shall be decided immediately by a hole-by-hole playoff. Merchandise certificates will be awarded to the top gross and net finishers in all flights. Playing Handicaps will be based on the July 20th Handicap Index. The gross and net champion in each flight will receive awards from trophy and awards.

Cancellations: It is extremely important that you contact the OGA office as soon as possible if you are forced to withdraw from the championship.  We expect all entrants to complete their rounds and fulfill their playing obligations.
