Clubhouse Availability - The clubhouse, locker rooms, restaurant and halfway house are available for all competitors.  

Eligibility -
 

National Car Rental Philadelphia Assistant PGA Professional Championship Eligibility:

1. Class A-8 Members and B-8 Associates*, must be eligibly employed and in good standing as of the entry deadline and the 1st round of the Philadelphia Assistant PGA Professional Championship.
 

*B-8 Associates, who have not successfully completed Level 1 will be eligible to participate in the Philadelphia Assistant PGA Professional Championship but not eligible to advance to the Assistant PGA Professional Championship (PGA of America of America Board Approval - March 2023)

2. Four (4) Tournament Rule -  **The number of “Professional Tours” that a PGA Member may participate in, and still remain eligible to compete in PGA Member Championships, was reduced from eight (8) to four (4).  This 4-tournament rule will be applied to all Championships & Player of the Year eligibility beginning on January 1, 2024 (Board Approval - June 2022).  Three new tours were added to this rule - the APGA Tour, the Women's All Pro Tour, and the Outlaw Tour.  Any events prior to January 1, 2024 from these three tours do not count towards the tournament limit.

*Exception: The current year’s PPC champion (Braden Shattuck) will be allowed a total maximum of eight (8) tournaments during their winning year only. Reason: The PPC Champion earns exemptions into six (6) PGA TOUR open tournaments with their win, which leaves room for them to qualify for two (2) additional events during the year.) PGA Tournament Corporation, Inc., reserves the right to determine whether any player meets eligibility and to reject any player who does not meet these requirements.

A PGA Member or Associate will not be eligible to participate if:

1. The Member or Associate is serving a suspension from membership
2. The Member or Associate is suspended from tournament participation for national tournaments; or
3. The Member or Associate is classified as Class F, Reserve, A-3, Retired Member, Life Member Retired or Honorary.

Facility Fees - All facility fees have been included in your entry fee along with lunch. 

Field Size - The field size is limited to 84 players.

Format - Individual stroke play.

POY Points Event - This is a PAO POY points event.

Qualifying Spots - 5 players will advance to the 48th National Car Rental Assistant PGA Professional Championship based on a rolling average number of players in the Section event over the last 5 years. There will also be 4 alternate spots available.  

Please make note of the tournament registration deadline below.  It is possible that a late entry will be permitted to play in the event as long as there is room in the event and the player was eligible as of the tournament entry deadline.  There is no guarantee with a player that missed the deadline and is eligible by the tournament entry deadline that he/she will get into the event.

Successful qualifiers will move forward to play in the 48th National Car Rental Assistant PGA Professional Championship on Thursday, November 14 - Sunday, November 17, 2024 at PGA Golf Club - Wanamaker course.
