118th Utah Women's State Amateur Championship
July 24-27, 2024
ENTRY FEE
$200 per player.
- $80 for qualifying round.
- $120 to advance to match play.
Players will be automatically charged following the stroke play qualifying round, and no further action from the players will be required.
REGISTRATION DATES
Opens: Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at 08:00 AM
Closes: Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at 04:00 PM
FORMAT
18-hole stroke play qualifying to determine the low 32 players who will advance to match play.
FIELD SIZE
90 player maximum
ELIGIBILITY
All amateur women UGA members that have a 14.9 handicap index or less as of the registration deadline.
STARTING TIMES
Starting times will be e-mailed to players after the registration deadline has passed.
CARTS
Competitors may ride in a cart but there will be a strict two cart per group policy. Players should plan to combine into two carts when you arrive on the first tee.
*Spectator Carts will not be permitted under any circumstance for the first two days of the championship. Shuttles will be provided to and from viewing areas to accommodate.*

U.S. WOMEN'S AMATEUR EXEMPTION
Beginning in 2024, the USGA will award the following exemptions to the Utah Women's State Amateur:
- 2024 Champion
- Fully exempt for 2024 U.S. Women's Amateur
REFUNDS & WITHDRAWALS
If a player withdrawals prior to the registration deadline the player will receive a refund minus a $20 cancellation fee. After the deadline, the player will receive a 50% refund. Beginning the day before the event, no refunds will be issued if a player withdraws or no shows (For Example, if an event begins on Monday, any withdrawal starting on Sunday will result in no refund). A business day starts at 12:01 am of that day. In team competitions, if a player needs a substitute for his original partner after the field has closed; he must arrange to get the substitute. Any substitute must meet all eligibility requirements of the specified competition. The UGA must be notified of any substitutions prior to the start of the tournament.
