75% Completion Policy, 3rd Round Only - For only the 3rd round of the Philadelphia PGA Professional Championship, the 75% Completion Policy has been modified which is as follows: We will have 2, 9 hole stipulated rounds along with the 75% completion policy listed below.
In a scenario where all players finish at least 9 holes but less than 75% of the field does not complete all 18 holes, the final round will be reduced to 9 holes and the Championship to 45 holes.
If at least 75% of the field completes play for the final round, the event will be completed on Wednesday or players will return Thursday morning if needed. That would include a playoff if necessary. A "No Card" and "Disqualification" are considered part of the starting field and considered having completed play. A player who has withdrawn from the event before starting play is not considered part of the starting field, while someone who withdraws after starting play for an acceptable reason is considered part of the starting field and is considered to have completed play. Good luck and we look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow. If seventy-five percent (75%) of the starting field has completed play and it will be unfeasible for the others to do so on that day, the tournament pay out shall be re-calculated on the basis of the number completing play. Those participants unable to complete play shall be deemed noncompetitors and will be refunded their entry fee. If less than seventy-five (75%) of the starting field completed play, the event will be postponed and canceled. A "No Card" and "Disqualification" are considered part of the starting field. A player who has withdrawn from the event before starting play is not considered part of the starting field, while someone who withdraws after starting play for an acceptable reason is considered part of the starting field and is considered to have completed play.

Eligibility - Philadelphia PGA Professional Championship Eligibility:
1. Must be eligibly employed and classified in one of the following membership classifications by the entry deadline and the 1st round of the Championship. * As a reminder, a LM, LMM, LMA and LMMA classifications are eligible for the Philadelphia PGA Professional Championship but not eligible for the PGA Professional Championship (PGA of America Board Approval - September 2021).
2. Four (4) Tournament Rule - **The number of “Professional Tours” that a PGA Member may participate in, and still remain eligible to compete in PGA Member Championships, was reduced from eight (8) to four (4). This 4-tournament rule will be applied to all Championships & Player of the Year eligibility beginning on January 1, 2024 (Board Approval - June 2022). Three new tours were added to this rule - the APGA Tour, the Women's All Pro Tour, and the Outlaw Tour. Any events prior to January 1, 2024 from these three tours do not count towards the tournament limit.
*Exception: The current year’s PPC champion (Braden Shattuck) will be allowed a total maximum of eight (8) tournaments during their winning year only. Reason: The PPC Champion earns exemptions into six (6) PGA TOUR open tournaments with their win, which leaves room for them to qualify for two (2) additional events during the year.) (Board Meeting, June 2022)
