The GolfBC Group BC Women’s Open presented by BTM Lawyers is a professional golf championship contested at Pitt Meadows Golf Club from June 20-22nd, 2024. This 54-Hole Open will serve as the second of three Championships on Golf Canada’s She Plays Golf Championship Series.
The 54-Hole Championship is scheduled on June 20-22nd and is comprised of professionals and amateurs with a full field of 60 players (and a cap of 30% international players). There will be a cut after 36-holes to the top 25 players and ties.
- Offering a $60,000 CAD purse for a total field of 60 players
- Open to professionals and elite amateurs (4.0 index & lower)
- The top two finishers in the 2024 GolfBC Group BC Women’s Open will qualify
for the CPKC Women’s Open on the LPGA Tour, set for Earl Grey Golf Club in
Calgary from July 23-28, 2024 provided there is a full field of 60 players competing in the field.
- The top player at the end of the She Plays Golf Championship Series will also qualify for the
CPKC Women’s Open (if not already qualified)
- Offering official WAGR (World Amateur Golf Ranking) points.
TEES & YARDAGE
- Play is from the Pitt Meadows tournament tees (wooden blocks)
- Approximate yardage for the 54-Hole event is 6,300 yards
START TIMES:
DAY ONE & TWO: 7:30am - 10:10am
FINAL ROUND: 12:00-1:30pm
BILLETING OPPORTUNITIES
Billeting opportunities will be available for out-of-town players. Players are asked to email info@vancouvergolftour.com to express their interest in being billeted by a member of the Pitt Meadows Golf Club. Please email which dates you require billeting so we can organize a local billet for you for the duration of the tournament.
ENTRY FEE
- 54-Hole Event Amateur entry fee: $400 plus GST ($420.00)
- 54-Hole Professional entry fee: $500 plus GST ($525.00)
- No requests for refunds will be accepted after June 10th, 2024 (unless special consideration is granted by the Tournament committee. Special consideration will be given if a player registers for the BC Women’s Open and subsequently qualifies for an LPGA or Epson Tour event on the same week as the BC Women’s Open, this player will be granted a full refund.
- There is a $100+GST admin fee for processing any withdrawals after May 30th and up until June 10th. After June 10th, any withdrawals will be subject to a full loss of entry.

PARTICIPATION INCLUDES
- For Elite Amateurs (4.0 & less) & Professionals, up to three competition rounds at Pitt Meadows Golf Club. Following 36 holes of stroke play there will be a cut to the low 25 players and ties for the final 18 holes.
- One complimentary practice round per player (see details on practice round booking policy below)
- $60,000 Tournament Purses offered* (see below)
- Player’s package including a first tee welcome gift ($150 value)

- $40 in Food and Beverage credit for each player
- Additional $20 food and beverage credit for those making the cut on day 3.

Note 1: 1st place Amateur of $1,200 is the maximum allowable under Rules of Amateur Status effective Jan. 1, 2022.
Note 2: The cut will determine the number of positions paid from each of the above amateur and professional purse distributions.
Players in the 54-hole event are competing for a maximum purse of $60,000. Note there are scenarios based on the number of amateurs and professionals that make the cut that less than the full advertised male and female purses are paid out. In the event more than 25 golfers in a single category make the tournament cut (i.e. more than 25 female amateurs or more than 25 female professionals), each position after 25th place is worth $50 less than the previous spot for professionals and a fixed amount of $100 for amateurs.
Any remaining funds following distribution of the purse shall be used at the discretion of the Tournament Committee.
PLEASE NOTE: No prize money will be awarded to players missing the cut.
Top Professional & Amateur Winners - will receive a keeper trophy.
Overall 1st and 2nd Place Female Finishers will each receive an exemption into the 2024 CPKC Women’s Open in Calgary, AB July 23-28, 2024 provided there is a full field of 60 players competing in the 54-hole event.
The winner of the “She Plays Golf” Championship Series (if they have not already earned a position) will earn an exemption into the 2024 CPKC Women’s Open.
PRACTICE ROUNDS
Each BC Women's Open competitor will receive one (1) complimentary practice round as part of their tournament entry.
PRACTICE ROUND BOOKING PROCEDURES
LOCAL GOLFERS: Local competitors are asked to arrange their practice round at a convenient time for the golf club within the 4 weeks prior to the tournament date. Please contact the Pitt Meadows Golf Club Head Professional, Wes Doka either by email at wdoka@pittmeadowsgolf.com or by phone at 604.465.4711. Please introduce yourself as a BC Women's Open competitor seeking to play their complimentary practice round. Practice rounds for local golfers will be available up to and including Tuesday, June 18th.
OUT-OF-TOWN GOLFERS: For out-of-town competitors, especially those competing in the US Open qualifier on June 17th, we have a block of practice round tee-times reserved on the morning of Wednesday, June 19th between 7:30-9:00am.

Out-of-town players may also book their practice rounds in the weeks in advance, or on the afternoon of Tuesday, June 18th.

The Pitt Meadows Golf Club membership will have access to tee-times up to 14 days in advance. So please ensure you book your tee-time in the coming days before membership takes access.
ADDITIONAL (PAID) PRACTICE ROUNDS
For players looking for additional practice round opportunities, please either call or email the golf shop with details provided above, and inform the staff that you are a competitor seeking out an additional practice round to your first complimentary round.
Tee-times will be at the discretion of the Pitt Meadows Golf Club. Players seeking to play a second or third practice round will be subject to the Pitt Meadows guest green fee rate.
