By registering, you agree to adhere to all player policies and procedures outlined on the VGT website as well as the 2024 VGT Code of Conduct:
FULL FIELD SIZE:
OPEN DIVISION: 48 players (40 Pros, 8 Amateurs)
CHAMPIONSHIP AMATEUR: 36 players
SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIP DIVISION: 20 players
OPEN Purse: $17,000*. 1st Place Cheque: $3,500*. Top 33% of Pro field paid out.
Amateur Prizing: $5,000 based on 64 players ($80/player in tee-gifts & prize pool)
Amateur Prize Payouts: Alternating Gross & Net Scores will determine prize payouts
*Purse & Prize Payouts: Based on full fields)
AMATEURS PLAYING IN ‘OPEN’ DIVISION - 2024: Amateurs may choose to pay an additional $100 to compete against the Pros in the ‘OPEN’ field for the Open Purse. They are entitled to win up to a top cash prize of $1,200 per event. This $100 fee paid will go directly into the “Open Purse”.
For Example: If 8 Amateurs decide to play in the ‘Open’ field vs. the Pros, the purse will increase from $17,000 to $17,800.
Every Amateur registering in the ‘Open’ field will count for ¼ Pro when considering the overall field size and purse payout considering only $100 of their entry is going to the purse vs. $425 from the Pro’s entry.
For example:
If 40 Pros in field. Purse payout = 35% = Top 14 paid out.
If 40 Pros + 8 Amateurs in Open field. Purse payout = 35% of Pros = 14
plus 35% of Amateurs (8) x 1/4 = top 15 paid out
For this event, Male and Female Professionals and Amateurs playing in the Open Division will compete against one another for one overall Prize Purse. Female golfers will be provided with a shorter yardage equal to approx..85% of the Men’s yardage.
In the Championship Flight, if we receive 5 or more female or 5 or more senior entries, we will have separate female and senior Championship Flights competing for prizing and points.
If we do not receive 5 or more female or senior championship entries, both female and senior golfers will play versus male championship flight players from a shorter tee length, approximately 85% of the Male yardage for women and 90% for seniors. Points in this case will be captured within the Championship Flight and count towards the Women’s and Senior’s Year-End Order of Merit.

PROGRESSIVE HOLE-IN-ONE JACKPOT RULES
- In order to qualify for the Hole-in-one (H.I.O) JACKPOT offered at a VGT event, a player must be entered into the $20 skins game/hole-in-one pot for that event. If there is no winner of the hole-in-one at VGT event, the current hole-in-one pot will carry over to the next event until we have a winner of the jackpot. If by the end of the Winter Tour the jackpot has not been won, the current jackpot will be carried over into the Summer Tour schedule.
- If the jackpot accumulates to $5,000, it will be cut-off at $5,000 and the first eligible person (see above) to score a hole-in-one on an eligible jackpot hole will receive the $5,000 payout. A secondary Hole-in-one purse will be started as soon as the original jackpot reaches $5,000. From the time the original purse reaches $5,000, moneys collected for the H.I.O purse will accumulate in this secondary pot while the first pot remains at $5,000. The secondary pot will continue to grow until the next eligible player scores a hole-in-one on the designated jackpot hole at a VGT event. The maximum H.I.O purse paid out at any time will be $5,000, and once the pot has reached $5,000, a 3rd and 4th purse (and so on) will be established for future winners.
- Due to the skill difference of Pros versus the Amateurs in the field, we level the playing field for the JACKPOT two ways:
- By allowing the Division 1,2 and 3 amateurs to tee-off a shorter designated tee-box at various times compared to Professionals and Championship Amateurs.
- VGT hosts numerous Amateur only events where Amateurs have a chance to win the JACKPOT without Pros in the field.
