FIELD LIMIT
72 Teams - (36 Amateur, 24 Senior, 12 Super Senior)
ENTRY DEADLINE
Entry applications, along with the appropriate fee, must be completed or received by WA Golf by May 9, 2024 at 12:00 p.m.
Field Limit: Field will be limited to 36 Amateur sides, 24 qualified senior sides and 12 super senior sides. At the close of entry, the Amateur, senior field and super senior flight will each be filled by the teams with the lowest combined Handicap Indexes in addition to exempt teams. A list of registered teams with handicap index is available on the event portal HERE.
REFUND POLICY
Refunds due to cancellation before the close of entry are subject to a $10 service charge. After the close of entry and up until round one pairings are released, players who withdraw for any reason will be refunded 50% of the entry fee. No refund for any reason will be issued after round one parings have been released.
ONSITE REGISTRATION
All contestants must register in person with WA Golf at Loomis Trail prior to the championship. Registration will be located outside the clubhouse during the following times:

THURSDAY, MAY 24: 7:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
STARTING TIMES AND PAIRINGS
Round 1 starting times will be released on Thursday, May 16. Preferred starting time requests will not be accepted. Starting times will be posted on the championship portal and will be emailed to each player. Teams will be re-paired by gross scores for the final round, with the leaders starting last.
FLIGHTS
The Men’s and Senior Men’s Championship will be divided into two flights each based on combined team handicap index as of the Wednesday, May 22 handicap revision. Both flights within each championship will play from the same tees and will be eligible for the overall championship. The Super Senior will be one flight.
COURSE YARDAGE
Course yardage is subject to change based on weather/course conditions. Hole-by-hole yardages are posted on the championship portal and will be emailed to players.
Men’s Championship Yardage: 6,996 yards, par-72
Senior Men’s Yardage: 6,515 yards, par-72
Super Senior Men’s Yardage: 6,155 yards, par-72
SCHEDULE
36-hole four-ball stroke play (gross only). In the event of a tie for the championship, a hole-by-hole playoff will be held immediately following play to determine the winner.

PRACTICE ROUND
Contestants may play one complimentary practice round prior to the championship. Practice rounds will be available after 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22 for out-of-town contestants. Local contestants can play a practice round in the two weeks prior on a space available basis. All practice round starting times are at the discretion of the golf shop staff. Tee times can be made by calling the Loomis Trail Golf Shop at (360) 332-1725 ext. 3 beginning on May 10.
FOOD SERVICE (NO-HOST)
No-host food and beverage will be available in the clubhouse from 6:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. both days.
BOTTLED WATER
WA Golf will provide bottled water during the championship. Coolers will be at multiple locations on the golf course. A beverage cart will not be on the course during play.
METHODS OF PAYMENT
Loomis Trail accepts all major credit cards and cash as methods of payment.
HOURS OF OPERATION
The golf shop and driving range will be open 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
RANGE BALLS
Warm up range balls will be provided to contestants on the driving range before each round.
CARTS
Carts are $40 per team, per day and fees were collected during registration. Teams must register and pay for a cart during registration or contact WA Golf to reserve a cart before Thursday, May 16.
SPECTATOR CARTS
To provide an equal championship platform for all competitors, the use of carts by spectators is not permitted by WA Golf.
CHAMPIONSHIP ACCOMMODATIONS FOR DISABLED SPECTATORS
WA Golf is committed to providing an enjoyable spectator experience for people with disabilities at WA Golf Championships. Requests from spectators seeking transportation onto the golf course due to a permanent disability, as defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), should be submitted one week in advance to the WA Golf Championship Department. While spectator carts may not always be available at each site, WA Golf will make every effort to accommodate these requests when available.
Generally, an ADA covered disability is defined as a “physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more of the major life activities of the individual”. See, 42 USCA §12102. Spectators with a “temporary” injury or impairment that is not an ADA disability will not be allowed use of a golf cart under this Policy.

CADDIES
Host club caddies will not be available. A player may provide his own caddie.
PRIZES
All prizes will be awarded according to 36-hole, stroke play scores (gross only) in each championship and flight. Champions: Crystal award and merchandise credit. Other high finishers will receive merchandise credit. All merchandise credit must be redeemed in the Loomis Trail golf shop.
Awards will be given to any contestant who scores a hole-in-one or eagle during the championship.
AWARDS CEREMONY
WA Golf will host awards ceremonies on Friday, May 24 immediately upon completion of play in each championship.
EXEMPTIONS
The champions of the Men’s Four-Ball will earn exemptions into the 2024 Washington Men’s Four-Ball Championship and the 2024 Washington Champion of Champions at The Home Course in DuPont, Wash.
The champions of the Senior Men’s Four-Ball will earn exemptions into the 2024 Washington Senior Men’s Four-Ball Championship and the 2024 Washington Champion of Champions at The Home Course in DuPont, Wash.
GHIN SCORE POSTING
WA Golf will post competition scores for all players to the USGA GHIN System. For posting purposes, any time a hole is not finished, players must mark down X and their most likely score. Example: X5 or X8.
DRESS CODE
Players and caddies must be neat in appearance with respect to personal grooming and clothing while on host club property. The WA Golf Dress Code Policy is available at the following link: wagolf.org/policies and will be provided to all players, along with any additional measures required by the host club, in the Player Memorandum.
CODE OF CONDUCT
WA Golf expects all contestants, caddies, gallery, and guests to exhibit proper conduct and behavior on the golf course and anywhere on club property during a WA Golf Championship. Unbecoming conduct or behavior may be grounds for immediate disqualification, at any time, from any WA Golf event. The following are some examples of unbecoming conduct or behavior:
- Repeated use of loud, abusive, and/or profane language
- Throwing and/or breaking equipment (club, ball, etc.) in anger or frustration
- Damaging host club, WA Golf, and/or fellow contestant property
- Public criticism or verbal abuse of host club, officials, volunteers or staff, and/or WA Golf volunteers, staff or fellow contestants
- Potential endangerment of others
- Intentionally violating stated club policy
- Violation of WA Golf Dress Code and/or Footwear Policy
- Other conduct deemed unbecoming
The Committee in charge of the competition shall be the sole judge of determining Conduct Code violations.
UNOFFICIAL WITHDRAWAL
During play of the championship, a competitor who withdraws must notify WA Golf staff and fill out a withdraw form. Entrants who unofficially withdraw (by not notifying WA Golf staff or without having sufficient reason to withdraw) will not be granted entry into any future WA Golf championship for a minimum of two years.
PACE OF PLAY POLICY
Players are encouraged to be familiar with WA Golf’s Pace of Play Policy, which is in effect at all championships.
LOCAL RULES AND TERMS OF THE COMPETITION
Players are encouraged to be familiar with WA Golf’s 2024 Local Rules and Terms of the Competition, which will be in effect at all championships.
PROHIBITED USE OF AUDIO EQUIPMENT
Rule 4.3 is modified in this way: During a round, a player is not allowed to use an electronic device to listen to music or other audio (such as podcasts or the like), including by using speakers, headphones or earbuds. Penalty for breach of Local Rule - see Rule 4.3.
