Rules
- To qualify to play in the BCMGC Club Championship event, you must be a member of BCMGC for the current year and in good standing
- To qualify to win money in either the BCMGC Club Championship Gross or Net Flights, you must have played in at least 10 BCMGC events as a member anytime between December 9, 2023 and November 30, 2024. Note: # of events by player for the current calendar year can be found here: http://www.golfgenius.com/pages/4564576
- Both days will be regular stroke play, just like a typical week (our normal game)
- To be eligible to place 1st for the Gross Flight of the Club Championship, you must play from the Blue tees
- To be eligible to place 1st for the Net Flight and all other Gross and Net Flight placings of the Club Championship, you can play from either the Blue, White, Red/White, or Red tees
- If you decide to change tees for this event, you must send an email to bearcreekmensgolf@gmail.com designating which tees you want to play from
Note: You may revert back to the tees played prior to this event; however, please send an email to bearcreekmensgolf@gmail.com following this event designating which tees to move back to
- Each day we will payout for the Skins games and Closest-To-Pin holes; Gross and Net Flights will be an accumulation of both days and will be paid out on Sunday
- If you place in the monies for both Gross and Net Flights, you will receive the highest payout
- One person CANNOT win both the low Gross Flight and the low Net Flight; if a player places 1st in both Gross and Net Flights, then that player will be considered the winner of the Gross Flight and prize money, and not eligible for Net Flight and prize money
- For both the Gross and Net Flights, if there is a tie for 1st at the conclusion of the 2nd day, a one-hole sudden death playoff will occur on the 18th hole immediately following the conclusion of the 2nd day. Those playing the 18th in the sudden death playoff will play the 18th a maximum of three (3) times in the sudden death playoff. If there is still a tie after playing the 18th a total of three (3) times in the sudden death playoff, then the players would proceed to hole #1 and continue the sudden death playoff in order of holes until a winner is determined.
Note: Specific sudden death hole as well as starting hole may change due to availability at that given moment on the golf course.
- Pairing requests will be accepted for the 1st day
- Pairings on the 2nd day will be based on 1st day results with the first 12 spots (1a, 1b and 1c) allocated to the 12 lowest gross scores from the 1st day; after the top 12 lowest gross scores have been paired, the remaining pairings will be based on lowest net scores from the 1st day
Note: The board reserves the right to adjust starting holes on the 2nd day based on conditions and results from the 1st day

To register for the Bear Creek Men's Golf Club Championship event, you simply need to respond to the Golf Genius invite that will be initially sent out on Monday, November 11, 2024. The Bear Creek Golf Complex is limiting our group to 140 players. BCMGC Club Championship eligible players have priority over all ineligible players; so, once we reach our group limit, any additional players that sign-up will be wait listed. If we don't fill the 140 spots with eligible players, then all ineligible players that sign-up can play and participate in the Skins games and Closet-To-Pin contest holes. Registration will close at 5:00 PM on Sunday, November 24, 2024.
