75% Completion Policy - For The Haverford Philadelphia PGA Classic, the 75% Completion Policy has been modified which is as follows:
***The Section will work with our Tournament Sponsor to ensure that all parties are satisfied with the conditions of play and the completion of the event. This may include a postponement or cancellation of the event due to weather or other conditions.*** If seventy-five percent (75%) of the starting field has completed play and it will be unfeasible for the others to do so on that day, the tournament pay out shall be re-calculated on the basis of the number completing play. Those participants unable to complete play shall be deemed noncompetitors and will be refunded their entry fee. If less than seventy-five (75%) of the starting field completed play, the event will be postponed and canceled. A "No Card" and "Disqualification" are considered part of the starting field. A player who has withdrawn from the event before starting play is not considered part of the starting field, while someone who withdraws after starting play for an acceptable reason is considered part of the starting field and is considered to have completed play. |
