50th C.R. Miller Cup Match Play Invitational
Fifth WPGA Girls' Match Play Invitational

This notice serves as confirmation for the 50th C.R. Miller Cup Memorial Match Play Invitational and the Fifth WPGA Girls' Match Play Invitational at Fox Chapel Golf Club in Pittsburgh, PA.
Format: Four (4) rounds of Match Play, single elimination. Play is governed by the USGA Rules of Golf and any Local Rules and Conditions distributed prior to play.
The field is 16 contestants for the C.R. Miller Match Play Invitational and 11 for the WPGA Girls' Match Play Invitational. There will be 8 matches in the morning of Day 1 with the winners of those matches playing 4 matches that afternoon. Day 2 will consist of the semi-final matches in the morning and the final match in the afternoon.
Tee Markers: All play is from the WPGA WHITE tee markers at approximately 6,700 yards for the the C.R. Miller Match Play Invitational and the WPGA Blue tee markers at approximately 5,600 yards for the WPGA Girls Match Play Invitational.
Pace of Play: The maximum allowable time will be three hours and forty minutes (3:40). A checkpoint system will be in place for the competition.
Practice: The practice range will open at 7:00 AM each morning of the competition.
Transportation/Caddies: Walking is required. Players may bring their own caddies. If you would like to use a club caddie, please contact the Golf Shop at 412-963-7885. Caddie fees are the responsibility of the player. Caddies must walk in the performance of their duties during the qualifying round. Model Local Rule H-1.2 is in effect. A player must not have a parent, step parent or guardian as their caddie during the round.
Food: The WPGA provides lunch for players. All other food and beverage charges are the responsibility of the player.
Footwear: Model Local Rule G-7 Prohibiting Use of Certain Types of Shoes is in effect. Shoes with traditional spikes or spikes of any design that are entirely or partially made of metal is prohibited.
Lodging: Lodging of various price ranges can be found in the Aspinwall and Pittsburgh areas.
Spectator Information: No spectator carts will be permitted for the competition without pre-approval. Please contact the WPGA office.
Evacuation Plan: In the event of a suspension of play for a dangerous situation, players are to return to the clubhouse immediately. The WPGA will assist in returning players to the club house.
Note: A suspension for a dangerous situation will be signaled by one prolonged air horn note. All other types of suspension will be signaled by three consecutive air horn notes, repeated. Resumption of play will be signaled by two short air horn notes, repeated.
