OUTING INFORMATION

ARRIVAL & REGISTRATION:

  • Enter through the main gate entrance, and security will direct you to the clubhouse.
  • Registration will be located outside the clubhouse near the bag drop.
  • The golf shop will be open from 7 a.m. and throughout the day for purchases with major credit cards.
  • Restrooms will be available at the clubhouse and on the course.

 

STARTING TIMES & PAIRINGS: 

  • Starting times and pairings will be e-mailed to players and posted on scga.org approximately one week in advance of the Outing.
  • Shotgun start will begin at 8:30 a.m.
  • Play the set of tee markers that best fits your game and enhances your enjoyment of the day.

 

DRIVING RANGE:

  • The driving range will be available by 7 a.m. on the day of the Outing. 
  • Players should arrive on site prior to their starting time and allow time for driving range usage.

 

FOOD SERVICE & PURCHASES:

  • Come prepared F&B will not be available before the round.
  • Lunches will be distributed to the participants on the golf course.
  • All water stations will be open.  Near the clubhouse, on the course.

 

AUTOMOTIVE TRANSPORTATION:

  • Golf carts are included with the entry fee; walking is not permitted.
  • There will be a maximum of two carts per group and two bags per cart.
  • Drivers must be at least 16 years of age (or older if club policy dictates).

 

PACE OF PLAY:

Tradition GC has requested players to be mindful of a 4-hour and 15-minute round.

 

DRESS CODE:

Appropriate golf attire must be worn, including adhering to any club-specific policies Tradition Dress Code.  Unfortunately, anyone not in the proper golf attire will have to change (members are very serious regarding their dress code policy).

 

CANCELLATIONS:

To withdraw for any reason prior to the start of a SCGA Member Outing, a player must notify the SCGA Championships & Golf Operations Department at champs@scga.org or by calling (818) 980-3630.

 

REFUNDS:

  • Cancellation prior to the entry closing date: Full less a $20 administrative fee.
  • Cancellation after the entry closing date and more than 48 hours prior to the outing: 50% of the entry fee.
  • Cancellation within 48 hours of the outing: No refund.
