102nd MEN'S METROPOLITAN CHAMPIONSHIP

Dates: Thursday thru Sunday, June 20th-23rd, 2024

Entry Fee: $250

 

Registration Deadline: Friday, June 14th, 2024, at 11:59 PM
 

Registration Includes: Greens Fee, Carts, Range Balls, and Awards.
 

Starting Times: Play will begin at 7:30 for each day of the Championship. Groupings for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday will be set with the highest scores going out first.

 

Rules of Play: Play will be governed by the Rules of Golf  of the USGA and R&A Limited and where applicable, by the Local Rules and Conditions set forth by the MVGA.

 

Eligibility: Contestants must reside in the State of Ohio or attend an Educational Institution within the State of Ohio.

 

Format of Play: 72 holes of Stroke Play with the low 32 scores and ties after 36 holes qualifying for weekend play

 

Groupings Available: Groupings will be e-mailed to addresses provided on the entry form and at MiamiValleyGolf.org and on this Event Microsite.

 

Dress Code: Clothing that respects the traditions of the game are required. Short shorts, tank tops, and jeans of any nature are not permitted. A non-metal spike is required.

 

Exemptions: The Champion will receive an exemption in the the Ohio Amateur Championship and be Exempt from Local Qualifying for the US Amateur in the following year.

Awards: Gift Certificates are awarded to the top 10 finishers

  

Playoff:  If a tie exists after regulation play, a 3 hole aggregate playoff will determine the Champion.  (Holes #16, #17 & #18)  It a tie still exist a Sudden Victory Playoff will be used to determine the winner.
