The 2024 NFPGA Valspar Member Qualifier will be held simultaneously with the Valspar Pre-Qualifier #1 on Tuesday, March 12. NFPGA members will begin the morning wave off of Hole #1.

 

Eligibility

Open to NFPGA Members in Good Standing (Must be a PGA Member)

EXCEPTION - Life Member (LM), Life Member Master (LMM), Retired Member (RM), Class F Members, and Associates are Not Eligible 

 

Format

An 18-hole stroke play competition with 3 qualifiers advancing to the Event Qualifier on Monday, March 18.  In the event of a tie for the last qualifying position, there will be a hole-by-hole playoff immediately following play.

 

NOTE - There is no additional entry fee for the Event Qualifier.

 

Yardages

Approximately 7,300 yards (only one set of tees will be used per PGA TOUR Qualifying policy)

Dress Code

Proper golf attire must be worn at all times during play.  Tank tops, jeans (denim or not) and tee shirts are not considered appropriate golf attire.  Professionals are expected to maintain an image that will reflect well on them and the Association.  If it is felt that the attire of a professional or an amateur competing in section events does not project the proper image, the Committee is empowered to take any necessary action.  Women professionals may wear shorts or the like, but they must be acceptable golf attire. Male professionals are allowed to wear shorts year-round per the following guidelines;

• Shorts must be Bermuda length and not be made of denim or the like 

• Shorts shall not be worn if the sponsor is opposed to the policy

• Shorts shall not be worn if the host site is opposed to the policy
