73rd Delaware Amateur Championship

Registration Fee: $175 per player
Registration Opens: May 13 at 9 a.m.
Registration Closes: June 10 at 11:59 p.m.
Eligibility: Open to male DSGA & GAP Member Club golfers with a Handicap Index of 6.0 or lower.
Field Size: 104 players. If oversubscribed, the field will be determined based on the entry priority list. All remaining spots will be determined by the lowest handicap indexes entered in the field. Handicap indexes will be pulled on the entry close date (June 10).
Format: 72-hole individual stroke play, three-day event. All players will play 18 holes on Day One and Day Two. The low 36 scores and ties will advance to Day Three when the final two rounds will be played.
Ties: Ties for the Championship will be decided by a sudden-death playoff.
Carts & Caddies: Cart fees are included in the entry fee. Players may bring a caddie for any round of the championship. During Rounds 3 and 4 each player will have their own cart.
Practice Rounds: Practice round information will be available two weeks prior to the Championship.

USGA Exemptions Earned: Champion - Fully exempt into the 2024 U.S. Amateur
Champion and Runner-Up(s) - Locally exempt for the 2025 U.S. Amateur
Event Schedule & Starting Times
Day 1: Tee times beginning at 7:30 a.m. off No. 1, groups of three.
Day 2: Tee times beginning at 7:30 a.m. off No. 1, groups of three. Tee times will be flipped, players who teed off first on Day One will tee off last on Day Two and vice versa. The field will be cut to the low 36 scores and ties after the second round.
Day 3: Round 3: Tee times based on score beginning at 7:30 a.m. off No. 1 - Leaders last, groups of two
All players will have a break between rounds of approximately 45 minutes (lunch provided for players)
Round 4: Tee times based on score beginning at approximately 12:30 p.m. off No. 1 - Leaders last, groups of two
