26th Two Lady Scramble

The Club at Old Hawthorne - May 21-23, 2024

 

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • Gender: Open to female golfers.
  • Membership: Must be a member of the MGA.
  • Age: No age restrictions.
  • USGA Handicap Index: Must have an up-to-date USGA Handicap Index.
  • Must live in Missouri or a contiguous state.

 

ENTRY INFORMATION

  • Deadline: Must register online 7 days prior to event (May 14, 2024 by noon)
  • Fee: $400 per team
    • Fee includes championship rounds, range balls, cart fees for championship rounds, and awards luncheon
    • Players are responsible for the practice round and cart fees for practice round. The cart fee is $40.
  • Refund Policy: Refunds are issued if requested at least 7 days prior to start of event. You will receive the entry fee minus a $30 processing charge. For this event, you can receive a refund of $370 if requested by May 14, 2024. Refunds are not issued if requested less than a week in advance.

 

FORMAT

This is a 36 hole scramble competition. 

Round one: Teams will be paired according to the team handicap index (players' handicaps as of 7 days prior to the event will be used)

Round two: Each team will be flighted and paired based on first round score. The two-day low gross score shall determine the Scramble team winners in each flight. Ties for a winner will be decided by a sudden-death playoff. All other ties will be determined according to USGA Rules of Golf, Appendix 1, Part C, Section 10, Stroke Play (c), paragraph 1 (last nine holes shall be 10-18)

 

 

SCHEDULE

Tuesday, May 21

Practice Round - Signups will be done through Golf Genius. The practice round will be tee times from 7:30am-11:00am. Players will receive an email with instructions on how to sign up for practice rounds. Please DO NOT call Old Hawthorne to set this up. 

Walking - Included in entry fee.

Cart - $40.00

 

Wednesday, May 22

First round - 18 holes scramble

Tee Times starting at 8:00am

 

Thursday, May 23

Second round - 18 holes scramble

Shotgun start at 8:00 a.m.

Awards luncheon to follow the round.

 

PRACTICE ROUND REGISTRATION

Motorized golf carts and push carts are approved for this event.

 

PRIZES

Gift certificates to the host club pro shop will be given to top finishers in each flight.
