ABOUT: The Southern Nevada Cup is an annual Ryder Cup style event between the Southern Nevada Golf Association (SNGA) and the Southern Nevada Chapter of the PGA of America (SNPGA). Each association chooses a team of 8 players (6 Open division and 2 Senior division) to represent them. Teams are chosen using criteria established by each individual association. 

 

FORMAT: Ryder Cup style Match Play

• Day 1 - Team Four-Ball Matches
• Day 2 - Individual Match Play 
• Each match is worth 1 point. A match win earns 1 full point, a tied match earns .5 (half) a point for each side, and 0 points are awarded for a loss.
• A total of 12 points are available, and 6.5 points are required for either team to win the Southern Nevada Cup.
