FIELD SIZE: 51 players

FORMAT/QUALIFYING PLACES: 36 holes of individual stroke play for a 2 qualifying spots and 2 alternate spots in the 2024 U.S. Women’s Open Championship Presented by Ally to be played May 30-June 2 at Lancaster Country Club, Lancaster, PA.

PRACTICE ROUND: One practice round per player at the designated rate below. Practice rounds will be available on the designated times below two weeks prior to the competition. Please call Dunwoody Country Club to reserve your practice round starting time. Practice round fees are $50 plus tax and must be paid regardless of whether or not the player chooses to walk or ride. Credit cards will be the accepted method of payment in the golf shop.  Additional practice rounds are at the club’s discretion on availability and rates.  .

  • Tuesday-Thursday, based on availability.
  • Sunday, May 5 after 2 p.m. based on availability for out-of-town players only.

YARDAGES & TEES: A yardage sheet will be available on-site and also through a link/download on the event portal on the GSGA website. Yardages are approximate and may be adjusted due to inclement weather or other factors that may affect the playing conditions during the competition.

GOLF SHOP & DRIVING RANGE:  The golf shop and driving range will open at 6:30 a.m. the day of competition.

STARTING TIMES: Starting times for tournament play will be assigned by the USGA/GSGA and posted on the event portal.  Players may visit www.gsga.org for complete pairing information and starting times beginning on April 5. 

REGISTRATION: No formal registration will be held on site. Players should arrive to their assigned starting tee ten minutes before their starting time to allow for the starter to go over instructions and rules of play. Player withdraws must be called in to the GSGA office at (678) 324-5969 or e-mailed to JFAGES@GSGA.ORG  

CARTS: Practice round fees are $50 plus tax. Credit cards will be accepted. During the qualifying round, a caddie may transport a player’s bag on a cart for a fee of $30 plus tax.  Spectator carts are strictly prohibited at all USGA qualifying rounds.

CADDIES: Players may provide their own caddie. Caddies are not available from the host club.

RULES OF PLAY/PACE OF PLAY/CART POLICY: The USGA Rules of Play, Pace of Play and Cart Policies shall be in effect. Click here to view policies.

PREFERED LIES: Per the USGA, for all USGA Championships and qualifying rounds, the following policy is in effect: A Local Rule authorizing “Preferred Lies” or “Winter Rules” is NEVER permitted.

FOOD SERVICE: Food and beverage items will be available at the halfway house beginning at 7:00 a.m.  Quick service lunch options will be available between rounds including a lunch buffet inside the clubhouse.  ALL F&B OPTIONS ARE PAYABLE WITH CASH ONLY.  NO CREDIT CARDS FOR F&B.

PRIZES: Silver medals will be presented to the low scorer and low amateur at the conclusion of the qualifying rounds.

PERSONAL APPEARANCE: In Final Qualifying stages and the Championship proper, players must be neat in appearance with respect to clothing and personal grooming. The Committee in charge decides whether this requirement has been met and has the authority to withdraw the entry of a player who does not comply.
