Player and Practice Round Information

 

Dear Participants,

On behalf of the Burlington Country Club, I’d like to congratulate you all on making it into the field of the 2024 Vermont Amateur.  This tournament is met with great enthusiasm and excitement from our membership and staff as its playing coincides with our Club’s Centennial celebration.

Upon your arrival at the Burlington Country Club, you will be greeted by staff who are here to assist you with your clubs should you need help.  In the Clubhouse, we’ve made space in our Men’s Locker Room for all contestants to have a locker for the week.  A BCC Member volunteer will greet you and show you to your locker. 

Our Grill Room will be open, serving lunch from 11AM – 5PM daily, with refreshments available well beyond that.  On the golf course, our snack bar will be open at 8AM until the conclusion of play all three days of the event.  Please note that credit cards and cash will be accepted in the Grill Room, but the on-course snack bar is cash only.  We will have a complimentary refreshment station in between #1 and #10 for all contestants.  This will include water, fresh fruit and granola bars.  Additionally, we will have complimentary bottled water around the course in 4 locations, plus three additional water bottle filling stations.

Since the day we signed on to host this Championship our commitment, as a Club, was to put on the best possible tournament.  From the course conditions, access to the facilities, support from the membership, etc. I’m confident that we will deliver on that.  If you need anything during the tournament, please do not hesitate to ask!

Practice Round Information

  • Each participant is allowed 1 practice round
    • No guests (family, friends, caddies, buddies, etc.)
  • There will be a mandatory cart fee for all practice rounds regardless of whether the contestant chooses to walk or ride
  • We’ve blocked off:
    • Saturday, July 6th – 1:00PM – 3:00PM
    • Sunday, July 7th – 12:30PM – 2:30PM
    • Monday, July 8th – 1:00PM – 3:00PM
  • Please call the Golf Shop to schedule your practice round
