The second major of the year will be played at Mission Inn Resort, Howey-in the Hills, FL, on the El Campeon course. One of the hilliest courses in the state, El Campeon is also one of the oldest, dating back to 1917. Simply put, this George O'Neil design has plenty of character with a finishing stretch among the toughest in the area. El Campeon has garnered many national awards and is annually recognized as one of the top 25 golf courses in Florida. With elevation changes of up to 85 feet and numerous water hazards (on 13 of the 18 holes), El Campeon is a challenge for even the seasoned golfers. El Campeon is a pure and premier golfing experience and golfers will have to play their best to score well.
