CGA Member Play Day & Team Net Series - Black Bear Golf Club

 

Register for fun or for competition! Select TEAM NET SERIES in registration if you would like to compete and sign up your team. If you want to play for fun, select MEMBER PLAY DAY when registering.

 

Team Net Series events offer competitive formats for 2 person teams (Men's, Women's, Mixed) to play exclusive courses. Prizes will be awarded to the top 10 teams, and lunch will be provided. 

 

All CGA members must create a Golf Genius Player Profile in order to register for this event. If you are adding a CGA member as a guest, they must have a Player Profile established to be registered. Non-members do not need a profile prior to registration.

Eligibility: Open to CGA Members and non-members. Golfers wishing to compete in the Team Net Series competition must be a CGA member with a valid USGA Handicap Index.

 

Team Net Series Entry Fee: $300.00 for one (1) two-person team, 

 

Member Play Day Entry Fee: $150 for CGA Members. $200 for non-members.

 

Registration Window: June 8, 2023 - July 31, 2023

 

Field Size: Maximum of 120 players (60 teams)

 

FORMAT: Fourball Stableford - 85% of the team playing handicap

 

Each golfer plays his/her own ball throughout the round. On each hole, golfers will take the lowest score between the two. Points are awarded depending on the score for each hole.

 

  • 6 Points - Hole in One, Triple Eagle or Better
  • 5 Points - Double Eagle
  • 4 Points - Eagle
  • 3 Points - Birdie
  • 2 Points - Par
  • 1 Point - Bogey
  • 0 Points - Double Bogey or higher

 

Start Time: 9:00 a.m. MT - Shotgun Start

 

Revision Date: August 2, 2023

 

Prizes: The top 10 teams with the most points and ties will be awarded prizes.

 

Carts: Golf cart fees are included in the entry fee. There will only be allowed two (2) carts per group.

 

Distance Measuring Devices: Players may use distance measuring devices provided they measure distance only.

 

Player Food: Lunch is included in the entry fee. A grab and go lunch will be available for each participant.
