30th MID-AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP

CHAMPIONSHIP FORMAT:

• 36 Holes of stroke-play
• 99 players, comprised of exempt players and qualifiers, will compete in the championship
   

Tuesday, September 26: 18 Holes Stroke Play
       Cut to Low 48 Players plus ties after Round 1
       Senior Division Cut: Low 18 players plus ties

Wednesday, September 27: 18 Holes Stroke Play

 

SENIOR DIVISION: For competitors who have reached their 55th birthday by Sept. 26, 2023.
The low 18 Seniors plus ties will play Round Two. If a Senior plays the back tee, they will be
competing in the main event only. Should a Senior playing in the main event earn Player of the
Year points, they will be added to the Senior Player of the Year.

 

CART & CADDIE POLICY: Cart fees are included in the entry fee for all stages of the event. 

A player may carry, use a pull cart or employ a caddie at any stage of the event.
 

FOOD & BEVERAGE:  Lunch on day 1 was included in the entry fee.  Food will be available on day 2 on a cash basis. Quinnatisset is a BYOB facility.

DRIVING RANGE: Will be available and fees were included in the entry fee. The range is limited to only 200 yards long. Please walk to the range as carts will be staged by the first tee.

PRACTICE ROUNDS: Practice rounds are available for the following dates and times: Tues 9/19 Noon or Later ; Wed 9/20 Noon - 2 PM ; Thur 9/21 2 PM or Later ; Sun 9/24 2 PM of Later ; Mon 9/25 Noon or Later. Fee is $50.00 to walk. Cart fee is $20.00 if you choose to ride.  Please call the Quinnatisset golf shop to arrange a time. 860-928-7516
