TOURNAMENT DETAILS & ELIGIBILITY
The 2nd Annual GolfBC GROUP BC WOMEN’S OPEN Presented by Boyd Autobody & Glass is a 36-Hole Stroke Play Championship contested at Mayfair Lakes Golf & Country Club on June 10-11th, 2023. The event is open to Female Professionals and Female Amateurs with a registered Golf Canada or USGA handicap of 26.0 or less.
Full Field Size: 100 players (24 Pros & 76 Amateurs)
Professional Purse: $10,000*
First place: $3,000*
Amateur Tee-Gifts & Prizing: Over $10,000*
*Prize purses are based on full field in each division

Players will compete within their own division for the Professional Purse or Amateur Prizing:
- PROFESSIONAL PURSE: $10,000 (based on full field)
- THREE DIVISIONS:
- Open Division: Both Tour players and Club Professionals are eligible for “Open Division” purse.
- Top 5 players paid out*
- PGA Club Professional Division: Top 2 Club Professionals not already placing in the top 5 of the Open Division will be guaranteed a cheque*
- “Champions” Division (45+ years old)
- Will compete separately from the Open Division & Club Pro Division, from a tee-length approximately 10% shorter.
- Open Division: Both Tour players and Club Professionals are eligible for “Open Division” purse.
- THREE DIVISIONS:
*Top 5 Payouts in Open Division and Top 2 payouts in Club Pro Division assume full field of 24 Pros.
NOTE: A PGA Club Professional has the opportunity to win the higher of the two eligible cheques from the Open Division and the PGA Club Pro Division.
For Example, if the top PGA Professional finishes 1st or 2nd Overall, they would win the higher place cheque from the Open Purse (but would not also win the top Club Pro cheque). The top Club Pro cheque will go to the next best PGA Club Professional not earning a higher value cheque in the Open Division purse.
NOTE: A “PGA Club Professional” is a member of the PGA of Canada in good standing and is adhering to the industry guidelines around full-time employment during the 2023 calendar year.
To be eligible for the PGA Club Professional Purse, a player may not play in more than two (2) professional tour events 60 days in advance of the BC Women’s Open. Tours under this clause include the LPGA Tour, Ladies European Tour, Symetra Tour and Cactus Tour. Exceptions to this two-event limit include any nationally recognized Championship, such as the US Open, Open Championship, RBC Canadian Open or PGA Championship.

Points earned from this event for all players will count towards the 2023 SRIXON/CLEVELAND Order of Merit for over $20,000 in year-end prizes.
PRACTICE ROUND RATES:
Sunday June 4th – 2:00pm to 2:30pm (Rate of $89 + tax per player)
Friday June 9th – 1:00pm to 2:00pm (Rate of $89 + tax per player) & 3:00pm to 4:00pm (Rate of $79 + tax per player)

All players are asked to create a VGT Player Profile in Golf Genius in order to register for the 2023 BC Women’s Open.

paid entry fee to play in the CPKC WOMEN’S OPEN
FINAL QUALIFYING on Aug.21st
at the Point Grey Golf & Country Club.
CPKC WOMEN’S OPEN QUALIFYING FORMAT:
The LPGA Tour will conduct an 18-hole stroke play competition to determine the four (4) lowest qualifiers*. Each of these qualifiers will receive exemptions directly into the CPKC Women’s Open.

All players are responsible for registering for the qualifying event themselves. The winner of the BC Women’s Open will then have their qualifying entry fee re-imbursed to them in full.

Winners will be emailed with the amount of their prize credit and how to redeem their winnings. Players will have until Oct.30th, 2023 to redeem their credits.
Round One tee-Time Requests:
If you have a request for an early or late tee-time on day one, please send your request via ‘message the manager’ link upon registration, or by emailing operations@vancouvergolftour.com no later than one week out.
Round two tee-times will be based on round one gross scores with the leaders in each division tee-ing off last within their division.
